Built well
Was looking for a 1 hole faucet for my portable dishwasher. I wanted a good sturdy one. All the ones I could find in the box stores were cheaply made. This one has good weight and should stand up well to being hooked up to dishwasher.

Old is Gold
Product does not match with what is shown in the Item Description and also it is not getting installed the way it is shown in the video so please be careful however item is of good quality and made of solid steel and very heavy worth buying it would last for many years. However make please check the picture how it is to get installed from under the sink just don't go the way it is shown in a video I decided to buy this one after I have tried almost 3 different faucet having returned and finally decided to go with this one, advantage is it is supported with steel base material so that is a big plus go for it if you want product for the price that you pay

Knock-Knock. Who's there? Moen.
Moen probably deserves more than 3 stars but I'll let you decide. - The kitchen faucet I just replaced was the beautifully designed "Banbury" model, which I think deserves a design award. It worked well for something like 8 years but then began to wobble. I took apart the handle, looked below, but found no way to tighten it. The wobble increased over time so I called in a plumber. He agreed that the only tightening available was of the 2 faceplate screws and they were tight. He concluded that the unit was broken and needed to be replaced. I was sorry to see it go. - The plumber replaced it with the Moen 8707 M-DURA commercial faucet. Another lovely design that is very smooth in operation but it knocks (the plumber said "hammers") once when opened fully. The spray unit jumps at the same time. O.K., I have much higher water pressure than recommended as my house is 84 years old and does not have a pressure regulator. The plumber measured the water pressure at 125. I really like the high pressure and don't intend to lower it. But before you conclude that the pressure is the problem consider: My 2 previous faucets never knocked. If I open the faucet half-way it won't knock and I can fully open it after that without the knock. This 8707 is said to be resistant to abuse but can't handle the pressure. So what is going on? Will repeated knocking over time cause the unit to break? Did revealing my water pressure void the warrantee?

There's a couple installation tricks, but overall a very solid faucet.
It's a commercial faucet, so it's pretty solid... about as sturdy and smooth as you can hope for. Here's what I learned during installation. 1. If you have a thin but flimsy/flexible deck on your sink, you can still install with the heavy bracket (to help reinforce it). You just have to flip the moon-shaped piece 180 degrees or you won't be able to snug the bolt down due to running out of threads on the brass line coming out of the faucet. 2. Removing the handle with the included wrench will give you access to the brass temperature-stop nut. If you don't need it, just pull it up and out altogether to prevent any potential binding issue. It's 100% unnecessary to have it in there if you don't need to limit water temperatures. 3. Run very hot water through the sprayer line to straighten it out. 4. If you are experiencing bizarre delays on getting water out during your install, don't worry. That will go away completely once you've bled the air out of the sprayer hose. Other things I noticed: The center chrome ring piece (between the handle and the base) is pretty loose on mine, It's just there with a friction fit, so if you grab it, it'll move which feels a little cheap. Regular use doesn't involve touching it though, so it's not a big deal to me. If I installed it on my thin sink deck without the big bracket, the weight and resistance of the faucet caused my entire sink to slightly bow. See above for the fix to this (easy enough). Rapidly turning the faucet on or off can induce a sort of localized water hammer. This seems to be related to the sprayer line... like it's temporarily building up pressure in it as the flexible hose swells under pressure. My other faucets haven't done this, and I've got a mini-rester on the line (so it's not a regular water hammer issue). I may try a slightly larger mini-rester to see if it helps. At the end of the day, turning it off just a tiny bit slower eliminates the issue. My first box arrived with broken sprayer parts. These commercial boxes were clearly not designed for residential shipping. The second, replacement box arrived direct from Amazon without anything holding the box closed. It was literally an unsealed commercial retail cardboard box. The mailman could have opened it and looked at it if he wanted. At least the second faucet was intact and undamaged. So far, so good. It is a much better build quality than the residential Price-pfister I replaced.

Installation was a cinch! Operates smooth as butter! This is quality!
After many disappointments with the reliability and longevity of kitchen faucets, I decided I wanted something commercial grade. I settled on this one. Installation was so easy and intuitive - basically fool proof. The rubber gasket rather than crude plastic piece on most under the escutcheon makes plumber's putty unnecessary. All threads and bolts are brass, so if I ever need to take this faucet out (which I hope I won't for a loooong time), rust and corrosion won't be a problem. Operation is smooth as butter. Although this is rated as a California drought compliant 1.5 gpm flow, I find the pressure to be quite adequate, not lacking at all and better than the one I took out. The veggie sprayer is very powerful if water is opened all the way. I suppose if I really wanted more flow, I could find a different aerator, but it is quite enough the way it is and has a smooth no-splash flow. So I'm not messing with it. A few people here complained about the handle sticking open. Doing research on this, this appears to be related to the hot water control block (can be adjusted to restrict the handle on the hot side if you have small children or elderly people). For myself, I just took this piece out and tossed it as I don't need it. I have no problems with handle sticking. Another complaint I saw on here was the plastic veggie sprayer hose not uncoiling easily. Solution: run hottest water possible through it for a couple of minutes to soften it up, then shape it in a convenient direction where it won't catch on anything under your sink. I will update on reliability and longevity as time passes. For now, I have only positive things to say. Stay tuned.
