Solid Faucet
We bought this faucet to replace a similarly priced residential faucet that snapped. It sprang a leak near the deck on the spout and it broke off when I tried to reattach it. So I sought one that had a solid metal construction. This commercial model fit the bill nicely and was easy to install. The instructions were for residential faucets but the solid brass connections were easy to attach and this works wonderfully. The only complaint I have is the spout is a little loose, the threaded connection is very short about 1/4 of an inch. But it was a solid fit. The loose spout I think is part of the design so that it swivels smoothly. But I wish it would not move so much vertically. But overall very nice. A solid piece I hope will last for many years and from the construction I think it will.

All metal exterior, can be installed without sprayer
While the faucet has plastic parts internally, all the exposed parts that look like metal, are metal (talking about the faucet here, I haven't unwrapped the sprayer). That's getting hard to find in home grade products. It can be installed without the sprayer, using the Moen 143530 "Side Spray Plug Service Kit", also available on Amazon (search on the part number, not the name). Everything went together with no leaks, no issues. You get a dribble of water after closing the valves, but that's to be expected as the horizontal portion of the spout is going to slowly empty through the aerator. My one gripe is the spout wiggles, just a little bit, even with collar tightened fully. Doesn't really affect anything, and again no leaks, so no big deal. Okay that and they really should offer a no-sprayer version of this. Alright, third gripe; they should at least be linking the sprayer plug part on the faucet page so you don't have to go researching it.

Directions clearly written. Pictures very helpful. For a newbie with no plumbing experience, it was very easy to install. Couldn’t ask for more. No leaking, no issues yet. Would buy again from Moen. Taller faucet head. Now easy to put a tall pot underneath spout.

Great Faucet but switch for better Moen aerator right away
Actually I was having a bunch of other plumbing work done by a professional, so I bought this faucet quickly to replace the old Delta single handle faucet (which tended to leak around it's base). It's still brand new, so I don't know how well it will stand up, but so far it appears real sturdy (and I've got a working spray washer again on top of it). I much prefer to have the hot and cold controlled individually. I can't say enough about how terrific it is having the spout this high, because it's now so easy to get pots and pans under it. The only problem is that if you buy one it's going to come with a 1.5 gpm aerator. It's a no-brainer to ditch that right away for a Moen 2.2 gpm one--otherwise you'll probably be frustrated by the flow, or not know what you're missing.

Too Dangerous, especially with kids
The media could not be loaded. So far I'm happy with the faucet. It works well for my needs. But the side sprayer is a different story. When the lever of the side sprayer is released the lever sticks and the water keeps spraying. When hot water is being used it becomes very dangerous. I've been burned a number of times. At the moment the sprayer us disconnected because I can't get it to stop spraying no matter what I do. Pretty awful for about 1 month of use. I would expect better quality out of Moen. Update: Upgrading to 5 stars. Contacted Moen and the sent me a new hose free of charge. The new hose is a different design and works perfectly. Also, the old sprayer was simple to fix by unscrewing the top and applying some Danco #88693 Silicone Grease to the plunger. Now I have a backup just in case.

NO JOY – Misleading Advertising – Flimsy Build – Poor Functionality
The web-page description of this faucet, “Moen 8792 Commercial Two-Handle M-Bition Kitchen Faucet with Side Spray, Chrome”, is misleading. It is not commercial quality. When compared to the Grohe residential faucet, that it replaced, it pales in every way; the build is flimsy, the internal assembly is inferior, and the side spray is made of low-cost plastic, despite an assertion of “Chrome”. As for functionality, when switching between the faucet and side spray, you can hear, and feel, a “clunk”, which is best described as a “water hammer”. This confirms a poor design, and does not bode well for faucet-longevity. (This undesirable condition was not present in the old faucet.) This faucet is mediocre at best. But, expect to pay far more if quality is your objective. Update 05/12/2023: The swivel spout started to "grab" and squeak, when moved. But, it was easily fixed with $12 of silicon grease. (Amazon - Danco #88693)

Excellent product!!
I absolutely love my new taps and sprayer. The water tap is a perfect height and it looks so nice. Love that roasters fit nice under to rinse out and a pail fits no problem. I noticed that the sprayer sure must have extra holes for the water it is like a wand. So happy I purchased this product. Thank you so much!!

Parts are missing and scratched
The shipped faucet is missing aerator. Also, there are deep scratches on the mounting nuts.
