Perfect Flashlight

I thought this was kind of a stupid gift when it was given to me, and now I think it was one of the most sensible and thoughtful. This thing is just great. It's perfect for the car, where the magnet means you can stick it to the body or under the hood as a worklight. The red light is wonderful for camping, when you don't want to ruin your or others' night vision. During a power outage it's convenient as a lantern, a spotlight, or a task light. It's small enough to fit in a pocket, and heavy enough to free stand. I now have one in each car, and one in my emergency supplies. I'll buy it as a gift for anyone who is at all outdoorsy, or handy enough to change their own headlights.

My favorite flashlight

I got the Big Larry 2 for emergencies and power outages (we've had a few this winter), and I'm impressed. At 400 lumens, it's bright enough for about any situation. It has a regular light on top which turns on first, and a cob strip "trouble light" on the side that turns on second. A third press of the switch turns the cob strip bright red, and another press makes it flash. Both lights are programable and dimmable to prolong battery life. Haven't tested it yet but supposedly you can get about eight hours of continuous light - whether that's at full power or dimmed I don't know yet. This light is hefty and quite rugged with a metal body, and it's water resistant. Runs on three AA batteries. The magnet at the base allows you to stick the light to a metal surface for stationary hands free use. This is going to be my favorite flashlight. Now watch...since I got this, I'll bet we don't have anymore power outages!

Very nice flashlight

I really like this light. Once you have used a wand style led flashlight, you will become hooked too. I lost my old trustworthy first wand, so I purchased this Big Larry. The wand portion of the flashlight is as bright as my first and the end light brighter. The only real drawback is the fact that the Big Larry is metal. This could be looked at as a positive feature due to durability, but after using it is actually not good. The flashlight is heavy for its size and caution needs to be used while working around batteries and electrical in general. I use my flashlights for many uses including automotive work and I loved the ability of my old flashlight to lay it near where I am working. The heft of this Big Larry (along with the conductibility) makes it more limited where I can place it. The magnetic end is handy at times, but usually the space in modern cars is too tight to use it. I repeat, it is still a very good light, but I would love it if there was another model that was made of a durable plastic (Big Larry 3)...

Great all around light.

Good light I’ve worked Bridge construction 42 years on the road early and come home late in the dark both ways. You need a good all around light for truck trouble or flats, it serves the purpose very well.

This little baby will light up your life. The brightest light I have ever owned it is about the size of a fountain pen and fits in your shirt pocket.

Ótimo produto mais a pintura poderia ser mais resistente e deveria ter um fiel pra evitar quedas.

Otimo produto. Os modos de iluminação são muito bons são dimerezados mantendo o botão precionado da pra ajustar a a iluminação pra economizar pilha ou não causar ofuscamento. De modo geral estou satisfeito! Obs 1: não aceita pilhas recarregáveis da duracell ou qualquer outra que seja de mesma espessura, existe um pequeno estreitamento no meio do compartimento das pilhas que impede a entrada da ultima pilha. Obs 2 : A pintura poderia ser mais robusta,poderia vir um fiel ou lugar para por um. (cordinha que prende no pulso para evitar quedas da lanterna). O corpo por ser de alumínio solido é bem pesado. A parte que segura poderia ter um grip melhor ou ser de outro formato, redonda e lisa pode girar na mão principalmente com luvas.

Awesome Portable Flashlight!

Nebo makes great stuff, bought some before. Their LEDs are super bright and battery friendly. The flashlight is bright and shoots quite far, the broad light is very bright, the flashing red is very visable from afar, and the magnetic base base just tops off its' functionality. It also ha a metal belt clip with a hole in the back (I have mine hanging on a nail in my room. I bought two and then I bought two more and gave the other three as great gifts. Definitely worth the money!

J’ai acheté cette lampe de poche pour faire des inspections mécaniques avant la levée du jour. J’ai besoin d’un très bon éclairage et cette lampe de poche est parfaite. Meilleur éclairage que j’ai j’aime le fait que je peux éclairer de façon verticale ou horizontale. Elle est très solide , en métal.

Bright and just right!

I'm tired of everyone taking off with the flashlights so I looked for one just for myself. Big Larry is IT! It has a bright single light, bright columnar light, bright red light and bright red flashing light. Good solid quality. Love it and I hide it from everyone.

The light of lights!

It's perfect. It's just the right size so you don't misplace it. The battery life is fantastic. The unit itself is build very ruggeed with an excellent weight. Feels like a solid chunk of aluminum. Look no further. Had to buy more to have my own stock incase these become hard to find!
