Great Quality Birdhouse, Poor Shipping Carton

Based on the reviews, it appeared these birdhouses would be of great quality. When the box arrived, beat up, wet looking and damaged and with MADE IN CHINA emblazoned on the outside, I was a bit worried. However, inside was a wonderful quality birdhouse in a color that exactly matches my house trim. The condition was excellent. The inside of the birdhouse is as good as the outside with no rough edges for fledglings, a small screen for them to boost up to the opening and easily accessed clean out door. I would suggest the shipper not use the merchandising carton as a shipper. Too many chances for the flimsy packaging to get damaged along with its contents. The only reason I did not give this 5 stars was because of the shipping.

Weather-proof Before Outdoor Use

It looks awesome and is well priced. I really like this manufacturer, but you need to polyurethane it before using it. Otherwise the weather will do major damage in less than 2 years. Get the spray urethane with UV protection.

Cute and good for the price

It was a super cute birdhous! Bought it for a friend and she has put it up and its adorable!! Its winter so theres not a lot of birds around But hopefully by spring itll have some occupants living in it!
