Not dishwasher safe?

Did not use these, though they felt heavy and sturdy in the hand, and the design is attractive. The problem is that the Amazon web page descriptions say in at least two places that the spoon rests are dishwasher safe. Then the product arrived with care instructions (on a sticker and also imprinted on the bottom) saying to HAND wash, and NOT to put in the dishwasher. Until Amazon or the seller decides to synch up the sales description with the instructions on the item itself, it's not welcome in our kitchen, where items like this need to be dishwasher safe, no questions. Others have noted the discrepancy, so it's not like this is news. I'm returning and getting ceramic spoon rests.

Other than nicks and some areas that could have used a little more polishing, these spoon rests are great.

Ordered 3, all arrived chipped.

They are exactly what I hoped for EXCEPT that they were poorly packaged (no packaging, just an envelope) and all three are chipped - the paint was chipped off in multiple places on all three of the pieces. That's such a shame. I ordered the light blue, brick red and the dark blue - the dark blue looks black. I don't mind, but there is no blue in that color apparent to the naked eye. As they are chipped, I think the dishwasher is out of the question. I'll have to wash them by hand which is not the worst thing ever. So... buyer beware. They could be great, but instead, they are just okay. Good idea, poorly executed. I wouldn't recommend them as who wants flawed stuff? I could go to a resale shop for that.

Ordered one, then two more

I purchased one of these and, after using, ordered two more. I like that they stack compactly in the drawer beside my stove. The Amazon description states that they are dishwasher safe. Stamped on the bottom of the product it says: HAND WASH ONLY DO NOT PLACE IN DISHWASHER. I put them in the dishwasher and see no ill effects. I had two relatively new “dishwasher safe” ceramic spoon rests break in the dishwasher. These do the job, take less space, and are virtually indestructible. I like them.

It’s a spoon rest

It’s a spoon rest and my spoon has never rested so comfortably. Thank you spoon rest. Oh and it’s sturdy and simple to clean.

Love!

These are perfect! The perfect size. I put one on both sides of my stove and I don’t like leaving anything out on my counters. I do wish they were dishwasher safe, but they are easy to hand wash.

Simple and great quality

I was looking for something to hold a utensil on our new cooktop and this was perfect. Heavy duty and has gone through the dishwasher plenty with no issues. Would buy again!
