makes skin super soft and clean
Lathers so easy with our effort leaves skin so soft and smooth. I use it everyday. Don’t wash your face with it every day though. Do it every 2 days. the plantains will cause a irritation if used in your face everyday. I’m allergic to latex and that’s what plantains are made out of.

Acne Soap
It's great for clearing acne. It dries your face out so have a good moisturizer. And it doesn't smell good. It doesn't smell bad, but it doesn't smell good either. But definitely 100 for the acne and sensitive skin.

I am white and I was told about this amazing product ! I see how beautiful it has taken care of African American skin. I have Fibromyalgia and autoimmune issues that cause my skin to have a constant rash. I have bought this product THREE TIMES and I just love it! It has a fine kind of shape that allows your hand to hold it hood while you use it to exfoliate your skin . I use it directly on my skin and not on a washcloth. It exfoliates so well! I also buy this other brick kind and I cut it up and put it in my bath water. My water feels so silky when I do this. I will scrub with this product and leave on the other areas while I scrub them. My skin is smooth again and the bumps on my legs are going away! I cannot say enough about this product! So it’s good for any skin type and I highly recommend it! Believ these women when you see their pics and reviews! This product is a life saver to me! So if you are doubting that it will help,know that it really helps and it’s soothing. God bless you all! I hope this helps. This is for ALL SKIN on humans.

Great exfoliator
At first... i was disappointed it had no scent (but my friend who is a african native said the soap doesnt need scent as long as it does it job????)and its was a smaller than I thought but the more I started using it I grown to love it. Its not a smooth average bar it has some type of mineral rocks in it. If feels good to my skin it softly scratches(in a good way) and exfoliates my skin and moisturizes it. I can wash with the bar by itself. No washcloth. I will be purchasing again.

Is this really authentic?
First of all, the scent is NOT earthy..it smells like burnt motor oil. Second, it burnt my face so bad that it took nearly an hour for the redness to subside, and lastly, it dries my skin and definitely won't work for washing my hair. I have to wonder about all the good reviews on here. Doesn't feel like there's any Shey butter in it. Going to try Allafia black soap next. I gave this 3 stars because it has a decent lather

Black soap an absolute gem.
I love black soap It's purely natural and keeps my body clean. I always feel refreshed and clean after each use. This soap is a gem. I will continue to purchase.

Wow, how have I never heard about this..
I had never heard of this before. I have had to deal with excema, both dry and weeping. This soap from the first wash made my skin feel better. Use to be that as my skin continued drying after cleansing, that it would begin to feel tight and uncomfortable and I have to slather on creams to calm them. With this Black Soap I have not experienced any dry and tight feelings at all.
