Just like the pictures

This is such a fun dress! It fits true to size and cinches well at the waist so it is flattering as well for all sizes. There is a layer that goes under the skirt so it maintains the poofy appearance, and the string on the front also helps to define your figure. I have only worn it a few times and the bottom is a bit scratchy but well worth it for the price and quality.

Too small

Way too small even up sized the dress. The saving grace is that I was able to give it to my sister.

Amazing for a costume

I bought this after reading a previous review mentioning that it is flattering on hourglass shapes. Accurate, it is! I tend to be somewhere between 1-3x in dresses and bought the 3x. It’s a tad big, but may shrink in the dryer. I also sew, so tailoring is not out of the question. Anyway, for the price, the quality is outstanding, exceeded my expectations. It’s beautiful. Get yourself a flower crown and be the May Queen. Or Sie Bier Frau. This is also amazingly comfy, if you wear bike shorts, so the petticoat doesn’t scratch you all day.

Full-figured women should wear this to beat out the skinny girls in their trampy versions

I love this costume! I ordered a 3x to make sure it would fit me. I'm 5'5, 200lbs, a 40dd, and i wear an 18 in jeans. I had to go with the 3x b/c of my waist measurement. Most costumes that include my chest size, won't fit my waist. This 3x was stretchy enough to accommodate. I love the low cut top. It gave me great cleavage even though it was a larger measurement than 40. The material is a bit thin, but nothing ripped. The embroidery on the bodice is very pretty and the pewter-looking buttons for the green ribbon laces make this look more authentic than just a costume. I received many compliments and many requests for pictures when I wore this at a beer festival. People said they preferred my more classic dirndl look compared to the other girls wearing the trampy costume versions at that event. I do like the trampy versions, tho. Those costumes are never in my plus size for me to enjoy. Anyway, the cleavage on this gives enough eye candy for me to be a bit of a tart and feel very sexy. My only complaint is that the skirt is way too long. It went just above my ankles. I wanted it at my knees or just below. I would have liked to show off some cute knee socks with bows. I guess at 5'5 I'm too short for the skirt. Also, the petticoat was very scratchy. I still wore it b/c it made the skirt look better. My nicer petticoat wasn't long enough

Good quality, sizing a little off

So, this costume was better than I expected after reading all of the reviews. The sizing is off for sure. It does run small. I am a size 14 and I ordered the 3X because everyone was saying how small it ran. It ended up being a bit big so I had to pin it in many spots to make it fit, I would have been fine with the 2X and I'm 5'9, 210 lbs. My only complaint about this dress is its SO long, and I'm pretty tall. I also had to pin the hem up at the waist last minute so it looks better shorter, as you can see in my photo. I even had the crinoline under it and it was still too long for my taste. I hand washed and hung it dry after wearing and it dried totally fine.

Great dirndl for the money!

Absolutely loved this! I am an avid Oktoberfest goer and got this last year. It's been a show stopper and I've gotten so many compliments on it. I definitely recommend! Fits close to true to size with a little stretch, so it's comfortable. Fabric is thin and breathable.

Super flattering costume’

Okay so I ordered this the day before the Halloween party and got it at 2pm the next day! Usually it takes me forever to find a costume that fits right and is flattering. I’m 5’6” 190lbs. The XL fit me perfectly! I didn’t wear the fluffy netting skirt under it though. I felt it made the costume boxy in the hip area… I got sooo many compliments on this dress. I will tell you make sure you have a good strapless bra.. I used a backless one with the ties in the front to help the corset part. Accent the good parts lol! Anyhow I got to say I had a super wonderful time in this costume!

Cute, but seams aren’t great.

I enjoyed wearing this costume, as we went to Munich for Oktoberfest, but the seams weren’t sewn well and it’s not the best quality. If you just want something fun to wear then it’s good enough. The apron is on the small side as well. I wouldn’t recommend it if you want something quality to use over and over. Not sure it would make more than a season or two!

Fancy dress

Love the dress but very disappointed that it can not be washed I think nearly £50 is quite expensive just to be able to wear it once

Feeling sexy!

I have a hard time finding costumes that fit properly and I have to say this is one of the best ones I ever had!!! I have an hourglass figure and I usually wear a size 22 waist, 3x in tops and have a D cup chest, in dresses I wear a size 18/20 though and the 3x size is just perfect in my case. Good quality material, good length (hits at the knee), not too revealing and perfect fit overall. The tule puffy underskirt is a bit itchy but it's to be expected and can be tolerated if wearing tights. The apron is narrower than what the picture indicates but it's still really nice. The apron strings are very long so there is no problem going around the waist. My only negative comment is that it's a bit expensive. The boyfriend finds it very sexy :) Cant wait to wear it out to a party!!!

Roomy fit but apron super small

Well made and looks great. My only complaint is that the red apron is not xl sized. It's quite tiny and does not cover as much of the skirt as the regular sized does.
