Warm

I got these as a substitute for what I actually wanted (the bootee slippers) but those in women's size were too expensive at over 100$. I generally wear wide shoes, was pleased these slipped on without being tight. The soles are fine for short outdorsing, like taking the dog out to whizz or dropping people off My feet aren't cold in these which is the point of my getting them. The fur collar looks punched into the leather (small groups like a toothbrush vs hair). The sheen of the inner fur makes me think it's synthetic. Which is okay, was just hoping these would be more like the other pair I've bought for my spouse which are shearling (bootee, and same price as these but larger men's size)

Love ‘em but too big

I think these have gotten bigger over time .. I had insoles from another pair of sheepskin shoes so I’m using them to keep my foot more stable. I’m wearing them everyday and wanted them to be perfect but they feel good and are warm - I’ll make do for at least another season.

Best gift ever!

I received my first pair of Juliet Old Friend slippers as a Christmas gift from my son. They were one of the best gifts I've ever received. They have memory foam and conform to my foot; they have a hard sole and I practically live in them indoors. I have orthotics in my regular shoes, but have no foot pain wearing Old Friend without orthotics. I am probably on my 4th pair as I usually order a new pair every year for myself when I find a good sale on Amazon. (Prior to ordering, I used to wear $10 slippers from the big box store, but no more). I usually order a size up because I wear them with socks. They are tight for a few wearings, but soon are broken in to be the most comfortable slipper ever. To be honest, I was shocked at the price that my son paid originally, but they are worth every penny.

I am editing my original review (below)over four years later. While not a perfect fit, they served me well for four years before the soles started cracking. I just purchased a different brand to replace them, but wouldn't rule them out in the future. The static issue seems to resolve itself with time. I was looking for slippers with arch support for my mother. These slippers popped up a few times while searching. She wears a 7.5-8M and I ordered the 8 because I have a pair of sheepskin slippers that fit when I purchased, but quickly became too large. When they arrived, I tried them on realized they felt too tight on my 7.5 foot in length and knew she would never wear them. Work, holidays, yada, yada, yada I never returned them and decided to keep them for myself. They did stretch a little in length, but the toe box is still short for an 8- or even a 7.5. The opening has stretched some as well and slips a little when I walk-I would not be able to size up or they would slip too much. I do appreciate the arch support in these slippers though.The fact that the insole is removable and may be gently cleaned is a nice feature. I supposed someone could remove the insole and use an orthotic insole as well. I find these more supportive than my Ugg slippers. However, I do find that I frequently get shocked on electrical appliances and metal when wearing these- which never happens with my other lambskin/fleece slippers or boots. If I had a shorter toes, and wider ankles, I would probably rate these much higher. They slip on and off easily with out hands.

Nice sheepskin but poor support

I normally wear a size 10 but ordered a size 11 since someone said they ran small. They fit true to size since the size 11 was too long. The sheepskin is nice and the footbed is removable. The soles are too flexible and don’t have good support. The footbed threw my foot to the inside of the slipper when walking. There is too much loose side to side movement in the ankle area. I returned these to purchase Old Friend Snowbird slippers which have more support in the footbed.

These arrived yesterday and I couldn’t be more thrilled! They fit well and are a warm. I ordered the size nine and they fit as expected. Looking forward to many year with these skippers!

Comfortable, Warm & Cozy

These fit true to size. Very comfortable to walk in. Inside of slipper is so soft on your feet. Nice and warm.

Sizing has changed.

Ordered same size as have gotten for two years running and this was at least a full size too big. Disappointed as nothing noted that sizing had changed.
