Please make this out of metal!!!!!
User error caused 8 of 10 to fail… yeah it was my fault sending them to an early grave, not the items fault. Would love this exact thing made of metal!

So far so good!
I bought it for splitting the micro-spray heads. It really helps. Right now, I have no idea how long it can last before being broken down by heat or sunlight, but I use aluminum foil to protect it and will see.

surprisingly inexpensive for the amount of features this comes with, love these.
Pro: +super easy to install +comes with 8 ports with caps on each of them for the ones you don't use +each of the 8 ports has it's own flow adjustment screw +this unit with 8 ports was cheaper than units with less ports +flexibility in use, you can use just 1 or all 8 without any noticeable pressure drops +if there ever is you can adjust them to compensate for any pressure needs Con -requires you also purchase "Rain Bird RCKIT-1PS Connection Riser Kit, Universal" which is nearly the same cost as this unit around $17 to $20 -it's plastic so it's easy to break so be careful during installation of drip lines and while turning the adjustment screws. We replaced random spray heads with these and ran drip lines to each plant and it is wonderful. Watering can be tweaked to the needs of each individual plant without watering the sidewalk, the house, the neighbors cat. Perfect water distribution. Now if I could only remember which screw went to which plant so it would be easier when I see a line giving too much water I have to adjust each one till I find the right one, but that's on me and my horrible working memory. If I only wrote things down or put labels this would not be an issue. Closing thoughts, great product with superior flexibility in use than other similar products perfect for fine tuning your watering system and saving money in the long run by not wasting water on areas that don't need water. Too much water going everywhere can help weeds grow. In our yard with random spray heads anywhere that wasn't plants or grass that got overspray grew a ton of weeds, the areas that never got overspray never grew any weeds. It was then that I knew I made the right choice and will be upgrading all other spray heads for my garden to this drip system. I didn't feel the need to upload a photo as it is what it is, product is exactly as pictured in the amazon page.

Individual port adjustments simplified (8 port heads)
There seems to be a common complaint about the adjustment screws being easy to break or otherwise difficult to use. I have solved that problem! A 3/32” Allen wrench fits inside the fitting exactly. No screwdriver ever needed. Screwdriver blades slip off easily and because the plastic is black it is hard to see to get the blade in the right place. I bought a 3/32” T-handle Allen wrench from Amazon for $1.62. Just search for 3/32 Allen wrench T-handle. It’s 12 inches long so really convenient to make adjustments. I have a dozen of these 8 port heads so this method is a major league convenience for me. All of my backyard drip irrigation is now above ground. No more digging and kneeling to make repairs. I love Orbit products. Photos added. The first one shows the 3/32 long handle Allen wrench from Eklind product code 51906. Available on Amazon for $1.62. The second photo shows a Dremel 3/16" pear shaped carbide grinding stone.. Also available from Amazon in a two pack for $4.95. The numerical product code is 84922. I have great difficulty slipping 1/4" tubing over the little green elbows on the 8 port manifold. I use this item to ream out the inside of the tubing slightly and it is just enough to make the connection much easier but still secure enough to stay in place.

The best drip manifold so far
I got this to replace a broken manifold. I wish I had bought more to replace all of them. The tubing went on easy. The ports can be turned up for easier installation or to keep tubing from kinking if the manifold is under hanging pots. I will be buying more.

the reason why the irrigation hoses keep popping off the manifold
The drip irrigation hoses kept popping off the manifold. I tried using spring clips but after a while they also failed. It then occurred to me that the problem was really an electrical engineering problem (Ohm's law). The drip heads are the equivalent of resistors; the flow rate of these heads are equivalent to the current; and the back pressure on the hoses is the equivalent of the voltage. The solution is to just get drip heads with a higher flow rate (lower resistance). This will reduce the back pressure and prevent the hoses from popping off. Just reduce the on-time of the irrigation timer to compensate for the increased flow rate.

Fragile adjusters
1/4" pipe, softened with a lighter for 1-2 seconds, easily push onto the nipples. Without doing that I managed to buckle couple of them I did not fit any dripper at the other end of the 1/4 lines- just used the adjusters. VERY useful as plants grow to increase their supply. Flat bladed screwdriver easily slips on adjusters. Some users suggested a small square headed bit, Not sure the "hole" in the center of the adjuster is anything more than just that. So perhaps I shall grind down an old flat-bladed screwdriver to leave a projection in the middle of the blade to prevent it slipping. I can see how slippage and over-torquing would wreck the thing eventually. Also I found it hard to get adapters to go from 1/2" irrigation push- or screw-fit to the 1/2" NPS female socket under this thing. Otherwise-- PERFECT for my Veg. garden where lots of plants are close together, And-- Good Value. PS-- Don't forgot to regulate Pressure in your system : )

Easy to use
I have used these for years to water my flower post on my deck. The easiest way to get the tubing on these green ports is to heat the tubing with a lighter. Just for a few moments and that will soften it enough to slip on. They also make great dog chews. Nothing my Lab loves more than gnawing off the green parts and then reducing this to a round blob.

works excellent but be sure you have the appropriate water pressure
Orbit DripMaster 69000 8-Port Manifold, Adjustable Flow I purchased just one of these just to test it and try it out to see if its useful for my needs. I removed my 180degree rainbird sprinkler head and replaced it with this one. I purchased micro sprayers and tubing as well. When you install one port, the pressure is obviously high and one microsprayer gets a lot of coverage. but as you add more ports (all 8) the pressure of the water decreases to EACH sprayer (obviously). So you should make sure you plan well for them (spacing wise) Each port can be adjusted with a flat head screw driver (tighten it to close the port or loosen it to open up water to the port) Since then, i've purchased 3 more manifolds because these are great to split up a sprinkler to water very specific areas in your garden. My own application is to water specific areas of my vegetable garden so as to target the water and not overspray like the larger rainbird sprinkler heads.

Exactly as described
I bought this to use in an automatic irrigation system. It works well with 1/4” OD lines. Flow is adjustable. It has a inline filter. I like these. Plastic is soft, be careful when adjusting flow or taking out filter to not strip plastic.

Works great
Works great for a drip or slow flow system. Love the adjustments for each line that can also be a shutoff.
