Loud Speaker, Not Good for Destructive Dogs

This is larger than I anticipated, in fact our 50lbs Vizsla can barely get her mouth around it-- most of the time she ends up grabbing a flap (ear, leg, tail, etc.) and running with it that way. The description says this grunts, but it's a really loud squeaker. Otherwise, the fuzzy case feels like it is encasing a thin plastic ball/bladder. Our dog does not generally destroy toys, so this has held up well with all the play. However, if your dog is a chewer/Destroyer Of All That Is Good, then I'd be surprised if this toy lasts more than about 5 minutes before it has a gaping hole in one side.

Good squeaker

My dog loves how squeaky it is. However he’s a power chewer and it did not survive.

Doesn't light up

I had one before, and it lit up. This one's light doesn't work. Dogs still love it though.

My dog's favorite toy

This is my puggles favorite toy. I got the first one from a pet store on clearance and she ripped it to shreds (still loves it though). I got her a second one for Christmas. She plays with both, and aside from some ear tears, the second had held up well. Shockingly, even with the first- she hasn't managed to de-stuff the head and get the squeaker out, which she can do in about 3 min flat with any other toy.

Very firm . Not suitable for medium sized dogs without strong strong bites.

It's a bit firm for you to hear the squeaker. My dogs love it to just bite as it's fluffy but you can't hear the squeaker when they hold it as it needs more pressure for them to bite down to activate the squeaker.

Favorite

This is our hound puppy’s favorite toy. It’s challenging enough that she doesn’t get bored. Very durable as well.

This does NOT grunt

It does not grunt at all, it only squeaks. It is also round and large, so my German Shepherd can't get her mouth around it very well. I'm very disappointed that it was advertised as a grunting toy, and it is not. She really does not like to play with it because it does not grunt, and it is round and not animal-like. Wasted money.

Not durable

It was not durable. Dog loved it, but it only lasted about a half hour until it popped (sunk in) like a football. Short-lived toy. Would purchase 5, if they were $1.00 a piece, knowing they're disposable in less than an hour.
