Works great with low voltage lighting.
This one is a bit pricey compared to other dimmers, but only one that works with my under cabinet low voltage lighting. Dimmers bought at Lowe's or Home Depot made the lights flicker. I hope this one lasts a little longer than the first one, I only got 5 years use from the first dimmer. In my opinion dimers should last longer. Only issue I had was setting the lower and upper brightness. I had trouble understanding the instructions on how to set these levels and probably should have contacted tech support. I did get lucky with the setting got the upper level brightness right, but the lights don't fade when turning on or off. I ok with not having that feature.

Not worth the extra money
Short answer: Buy the next step down (half the cost). Long answer: We just upgraded all our lighting - new, top-of-the-line led lights throughout the house. These dimmers were recommended by the lighting expert at our local high end store, as being ones that would move forward and adapt as led technology changes (which it apparently is doing rapidly). We now have 45 of these installed throughout, and they are a huge hassle - if they even work. If programmed to actually dim (their default dim status is very bright - might as well not use a dimmer at all) then they may, or may not, turn on your lights. Seriously. Example, in our kitchen: two switches and their six lights all come on - the third which controls the three lights over our island? Either won't work at all, or just turns on one. The other two might kick in later. Several other won't work at all. It's kinda like having our own personal gremlins in the house. Answer: call Legrand, right? Wrong. One of the techs was nice to me, but not helpful - another was rude to my electrician, who is a master, and a friend, and a great guy. Basically saying to replace them, they would have to send out an engineer. Thankfully our local big-box hardware store, where the electrician bought most of the switches, is willing to take and trade them down, even w/out the original packaging. Final bit: they may be 'smart', but they sure act stupid. (For the record, yes our wiring is all to code and installed in the last decade - yes neutral grounds were used - yes all enclosed literature/instructions were read and followed).

Good, Except for the annoying ON delay
Dimmer matches the rest of our 'Legrand' wall switches. Programmable low and high light levels are an attractive option that really do allow a wider light range tailored to the lamp connected. The locator light is perfect. Just a small point of light that can be seen in the dark when you need to locate the switch. The locator is NOT a night light. (Why it's called a 'locator' light....) The major problem is the delay turning the lights ON, that have not been able solve. Have two of these dimmers each controlling the same model of light. One has a 1 to 2 second delay, the other has a 4 to 5 second delay which has become amazingly annoying. Only 4 seconds perhaps but if you count it out it's enough to be into the room (or wherever) and wondering if the light is going to come on. Trying to decipher the issue.

This Dimmer Really Works
After trying less expensive dimmers, I was tired of the constant flickering of my LED bulbs. It didn't seem to matter which bulbs I tried. I purchase this dimmer and haven't seen the light flicker once, so it really does adjust to the bulb as advertised. I've purchaed another for a 2nd location.

Works well, needs a neutral line.
After installing this dimmer in my living room, my LED lights can dim all the way down and they don't buzz at all. I really like that this dimmer is compatible with all sorts of loads (I do not want to have to check for compatibility before buying light bulbs etc). I've have installed this dimmer in every room if I could, but it does require a neutral wire, so I was only able to.

Installation & re-wiring requirements are important requisites prior to removal of old.

Good for high wattage lamps/bulbs
This was the 6th dimmer I tried and it worked flawlessly. No wonder it's twice the price of regular dimmers and out of stock at times.

Some of the dimmers worked others did not.
