Adds comfort

Surprised that this gel pad had no covering. I couldn't see that on the web image. It fits well, however. Comfortable thus far. I don't know how it will feel in very warm weather. It will certainly be easy to wash and dry.

Relief, but....

I've had issues with my 5th metatarsal for about 5 months. I could slip the loop on the small size over my pinky toe and cover JUST where I needed it. Pain has lessened, but not disappeared. ROYAL PITA keeping it in place while putting on a dress sock, but easy to adjust. HOWEVER, just today(approx 1 month of use- every day/every week), the loop broke. This likely resulted because of the having to pull a sock on over it and pulling the pad before adjusting. That being said, I bought 2 replacements tonight. We'll see.....

Definitely not for running.

I was having some issues with ball of foot pain, and decided to give these a whirl. My intent was to try them out for running, realizing that these probably weren't designed for that purpose. I'll attest to you right now that these are not designed for running. First off, these slip around on your feet. They don't stay in the same place. Second, the toe hook tore after 10 or so runs. These did help a little, so I can't complain.

Comfortable when they stay in place but toe loop gets in the way

The material is very comfortable and soft and does provide pressure relief. The toe loop idea is a good one but it takes up room in the toe box of the shoe and crowds your toes. The pad doesn't stay put either. Will try with a tape adhesive to see if it works better and cut off the toe loop

Not As Good As the Fabric Type

I have tried a variety of these products. When the filled fabric type worked, I thought that a gel one would be even better, since it wouldn't flatten over time. However, the lack of breathability was an immediate drawback, and the gel loop began to irritate that toe's skin by the end of the day. I'd recommend the fabric type instead.

Not impressed

This is not a product I would buy again, although it is reasonably comfortable. It is not necessarily a better product than some available elsewhere at a lower cost.

Oh, that feels good, ouch

Good product, helped with my metatarsal pain, but irritated my toe where it hooked around. I think it would be better if it was flocked or covered in moleskin.
