Great.
I fill them up with peanut butter and put them in the freezer otherwise my big dog has them emptied in 5 minutes. Great for settling them down when they get busy rough housing. Seem to be holding up great. I just throw them in the dishwasher when they're done with them.

Great for super chewers
My pups love these. One of my dogs is a super chewer and he hasn’t made a dent in his. I stuff them with sliced cheese and it keeps them occupied for about 10-20 minutes. I’ve done peanut butter in the freezer also and that lasts a little longer. Keeps them engaged without being too difficult that they get bored. Highly recommend!

Only for a quite large dog
It is impossible to know by looking at the pictures, but this is quite heavy and large. My dog weighs 50-odd pounds and it is too large for her. The treat area is pretty small. It will last a lifetime though. It is TOUGH.

Hard to fill
My dogs loved it but it was difficult to fill with peanut butter. It didn’t particularly last long. I froze them so they could just lick them

Love this!
My dog destroys everything and she has yet to destroy this and we've had it for months. We use it everyday, put some wet food and treats in it and pop it in the freezer. It keeps her calm, happy and occupied while we enjoy our dinner. Thinking of getting more for my other dogs.

Too stiff for small senior dogs
I bought 3 of these for my family of senior rescue Chihuahuas, hoping they’d help the two newest with barking challenges. (They hang out on our screened in porch that overlooks a city street and fly into fits of barking and snarling at every sound - like they’re miniaturized junkyard dogs). One has zero teeth, the other two - the newest additions- are in the process of receiving extensive dental work. All 3 struggle with eating anything that isn’t wet or freeze-dried. I purchased this product bc it seemed like a perfect solution. I thought I could load them up with things like baby food, freeze them. and enjoy a blissful 20 minutes of quiet. Unfortunately, they didn’t work out so well. I started by puréing and then adding their fav at the time - turkey dogs - and I didn’t bother freezing in order to entice them to try the toys. They were into them as long as they could easily access the food, but that didn’t last long. Once they got through the center portion (about a quarter of the food) they stared at me like, Umm, I need you to dig out the rest, please. The plastic was just way too stiff for them to make any more headway - and the food that isn’t in the center is protected by a circle of “teeth,” or tiny plastic triangles that stick out and make rooting around hard for little dogs who can’t manipulate them with their mouths. The next day, I tried adding more liquified food/broth and freezing them, but my sense is that, bc they couldn’t detect a smell from them immediately, they weren’t interested. I put some baby food on top, and dutifully ate that off and then stared at me again like, where’s the rest of our breakfast? I left them where they were in hopes that they’d notice the melting and get excited, but all I got on exchange for that was hot dog purée stained/scented dog bedding. Back to the drawing board, I guess!

All good except the tag ties
We have three of these for our 11 month old pup who will be losing her puppy teeth soon. We fill with yogurt and/or peanut butter and she loves licking it until it’s empty which isn’t long but it gives us some peace. She does chew on it occasionally without any filling too. We want to keep them on cycle to soothe her mouth while teething. Only thing I didn’t like is having to use a pair of pliers to get the plastic ties out of the toy. I think they could have chosen a better option for packaging.

Not exactly what I imagined but it works
Very fast shipping through ASL delivery so thanks for that Amazon. As for the toy it's good quality but I was expecting the part where you stuff food in to be deeper or longer at least. It's a very small area and for a dog that's about 50 lbs it won't last long. I filled it with plain yogurt this afternoon and we'll see how much he likes it in time. I doubt my dog will continue to play with it once it's empty but that's just bcuz he gets bored easily and food is a great motivator. (He does that with all his food toys though (once the food is gone so is he). I will update my review on how he's liking this. Bought for an aggressive chewing husky 1 yr old. This isn't his first freezer toy but this is one of the few I could find on Amazon that is suitable for liquids and not just food. I love that there's only one hole to this toy.

Smell Will Not Go Away
This smells terrible, not just of rubber (we have Kong toys that smell of rubber) but like really cheap and strong air deodorizer. I have washed it every day for weeks in the dishwasher and it is not dissipating. We also bought the Infini-Tug Dog Toy and it has the same odor, after weeks of airing out on the patio, so it must be a characteristic of the brand. I will not buy anything else from Pet Safe. If you do order this, please be careful to fully remove the tag attachments so they don't cut your dog's mouth. I tried snipping them short with scissors, which left a sharp end so had to use pliers, which was then difficult because I was trying to grasp the tiny bit sticking out; better to start with pliers. All in all, it does not feel like the company is thinking of the best interest of dogs. Not sure how this has 4.5 stars. Perhaps they changed the chemical formulation of the plastic since those reviews.

Very Durable. Great for freezing your own dog treats
Purchased a couple of these in the small size for my puppy. I love them. My puppy loves to challenge herself to how quickly she can destroy her new chew toys. I purchased these in May 2020 and they still look new. I use them to freeze yogurt and give it to my puppy as a treat when I’m drying her fur after a wash. She hates the noise of the dryer so I use the yogurt treat as a distraction. After completing her treat I always let her play with the toy. As mentioned, these penguins have survived many chewing sessions without a scratch.

100 gold stars for this product
I have bought so many dog toys and treat dispensers, its nuts. But this chilly penguin is in the top tier of all the items I've purchased. I first bought the small when our boy was a puppy and soon graduated to two large ones. He gets two a day and I fill with all sorts of things but mostly kibble and some dog treats mixed with water. Super durable and he loves them and I get an extra 15 minutes of relaxation. I can't believe how reasonable the price is for such an awesome product. Highly recommend.
