Will Be Great Comfort Sloth

I bought 2 Comfort Purr Snoozin Sloths for our 2 cats & 2 dogs after spending one night looking at all the adorable photos posted on Amazon of Cats, Kittens, Dogs & Puppies cuddling their Sloths and Purple Purring Mama Kittyz. Our 2 dogs are Rescue Pups, one is 15 & we adopted her from our City's Shelter. She was found wandering on the streets & had been horribly abused; we had to teach her how to play w/toys, go on a walk on a leash, we left her once to go on vaca & her fur fell out! We take her now or don't go. She still eats in the dining room in a corner where she is by herself. Our newest rescue is a Beagle-Chihuahua mix who Yodels, and is worse! She's 2 1/2yo now and we've had her 2yrs, she's has had lots of private lessons. My hub has to walk her alone bc she guards my hub like the Royal Jewels. She could get out of any harness and felt a toddler was A Threat! She sits next to me the entire time Hub walks our 15yo Spaniel & Shakes until he returns; does this when he runs errands, too. So my plan is to use it tomorrow when he leaves. They said it had a inside pad you could warm in the microwave... Missing? Purr Noise isn't loud and All Pets were intrigued except our 13yo Black half Siamese Cat; 15yo Tortie is having Thyroid issues & lost 6lbs in 9mo. She sleeps on my shoulder so I thot I'd try a backup. 2yo pup already took Slothy under her blankie & attempted to Murder bc she has Murder Jaws; we get a BarkBox delivery each month-No Treats, a 3rd toy bc she's so destructive! Her Goal is to Rip As Many Holes as she can in a BarkBox Toy and demolish any other brand until they're trashed. So supervision only for Ms.2yo. Think the Sloths will help! Purrs Away! They are on SALE for Half Price. It's Going To Be Kitten Season Soon, so I might buy a half Dozen for our City's Shelter.

Comfort toy for my moms rescue kitten.

My mom found herself in possession of a couple day old abandoned kitten. With the help of a knowledgeable friend her friend was able to raise the cat for a couple weeks before passing the responsibility over to my mother. My mom is trying so hard. Constant feedings and sleepless nights I thought lil Bean might like something to cuddle with since “it” doesn’t have any litter mates. This lil sloth purring pillow was perfect. Bean loves it. My mom was so impressed she bought a second one in case something happened to the first. Mr. Sloth is the perfect cuddle buddy.

Nap time

My cat loves the toy but not the purring sound. Purr not really like real purring. She tolerates sound when I push button but likes it better without purr. She even try’s to throw at times. She loves to bury nose in soft fur. She won’t let my other cat get near it.

Hilarious, but not quite what I expected

This sloth is soft, with a crinkly hand and cute feathers. The purring is really loud, though. My kitten was terrified of it instead of being soothed. She likes it if it isn’t purring, and she likes how the arm feels over her, so I’m just taking the purr out. The photo is from our third try with the purr on. Totally worth the cost

Adorable calming cat toy

My daughter has a kitten that only has a nub for a tall and is very needy and anxious and this toy was a perfect way to help her calm down and be less anxious. It's the perfect size too, we place it right in bed with the kitten.

My cats didn’t care for it

My three cats were uninterested in this as a whole, but my dog loved it! And the box held up a surprisingly long time considering it’s intended use was not to be chewed daily by a dog. I eventually had to remove it when the plastic started breaking, but I could do so easily with the Velcro pocket.

Saved my kitty

Great idea for comforting sick cat. Helped my cat recover from being very sick. Only downside is the purr only lasts for two minutes each time. Wish it was more like 10 or 15 minutes.

hilarious- the human loves to cuddle it, the cat loves to kill it but we all enjoy it!

The media could not be loaded. I am going to call this fluffy purring blob with a face Clive. Initially Clive scared the hell out of my cat when we pressed the purr button but he soon got used to it and decided Clive was a new fun toy that he could catch, bite and kick at his leisure. He thoroughly enjoyed carrying Clive around in his mouth, plopping him down on the floor before preceding to kill Clive as well as he could. Clive is his new favourite toy and if I pick Clive up and stroke him, it makes my cat really jealous and immediately want attention ???? update: months later Clive has become my cats best friend. He sleeps with him every night and Clive is a great deterrent from feet nibbling which my cat is partial to at 3 in the morning. This purchase was 100% worth every penny, I would highly recommend. update Sept 2021: I have since bought 4 of these little guys and both my cats use them. I have not been able to find anything better. I used it with my little one to settle him in and he loved needing it. The purring works instantly to settle him down and help him get to sleep. I tried the toys with the heart beats but it was no where near as good as the purring toy and the way the purring toy is made helps the cats cuddle it etc. my only problem is that it is really hit and miss if you get a toy where the purring works and lasts two minutes. out of the 4 I bought, only 2 worked properly when they arrived, with the other 2 switching off after only 5 seconds. It's a shame because when these products work they are amazing and I can't find anything else like them anywhere

I'm not a cat but this helped me

Honestly I don't use this for my cat. I sleep with it because I have extremely bad anxiety and my cats purrs help me sleep. It makes me fall asleep in the two mins it takes for the timer to stop and I hadn't slept at night in over 6 months. This product saved my sanity and helped restore my sleep schedule.

My kitten loves it and nuzzles into it all the time!

Bought this toy because our kitten had a habit of nuzzling into my hair and clawing at my head / neck while padding (ouch). He would do this several times a day and, even worse, he would wake us up several times a night! Knowing this was a comforting act for him and not wanting to cause distress by scolding him every time, I searched for an alternative thing for him to use. This toy has been perfect! The purring got him interested enough to start playing with it and covering it with his scent, and after a bit of light training by diverting his attention to this he now understands what it’s for and nuzzles into it instead. No more head injuries or sleepless nights! I would highly recommend to anyone who is looking to do the same or who just wants to give your feline friend some comfort! One caveat, the purr feature although good for our kitten, made our older cat scared of the toy at first. This was actually useful for us to train the kitten and stop our cat claiming it but if your cat / kitten responds negatively to the noise then it may seem like the toy is not worth it. However, you can take the purring device out of the toy easily if needs be.

Incredibly delicate and short lived. 2 minutes to failure.

Unfortunately after my cat had thrown it across the floor to play chase the toy stopped purring and does not work any more. On investigation the internal printed circuit board has split where one of the supply connections was soldered. Sadly this means it can’t even be soldered back on as the necessary track is no longer there. At 2 minutes of use of something that fascinated 2 cats the idea is great, the execution is rubbish. The toy also sheds just as much as my cats do.

Cheaply made and not a pillow

Really dissapointed with this as it had some great reviews. It is really cheaply made, the body of the cat is completely empty with no stuffing and the purring speaker is shoved inside the head in a velcro pouch that doesn't even close properly because the label is sewn over the top. The material is quite soft which my cat does like. It's a push mechanism to trigger the sound which i have to do myself, my cat wouldn't be able to do this on her own accord so it seems a bit pointless and the sound is pretty poor quality. It is not thick or warm as there's no stuffing. I don't know how it can be called a pillow at all tbh, it's more like an empty sock puppet. Overall it's not completely terrible and my cat doesn't hate it (she doesn't love it though either) but for the price it's not at all worth it and i would not recommend or purchase again
