The best pacifiers
Love them! No harsh smells, not too thick or thin, and packaged very securely. These pacifiers are perfect for newborns! Baby #2 and this is all we’re using.

The only Paci our newborn takes!
We tried and failed so many Pacifiers and this is the only one he took pretty much from the first time. I believe it's the ones the hospitals use too so just get this first and buy others only if this doesn't work

Same kind the hospital uses! (after 3 months, didn't like and we switched to MAM) - read review for more info!
Same ones the hospital gives out.... not leaving home without them! If you are reading this, you are probably pro-pacifier. We really didn't have an opinion until we went to the hospital class on breastfeeding and they scared us against using them for fear of nipple confusion. Well, my son was born on Monday evening and on Thursday evening after just 24 hours at home, landed in a level 4 NICU. He had an IV on his hand, which he had previously used for comfort. We finally gave in and let him have one when the nurse offered for the Xth time. Now at 3 weeks, he gets them whenever he's having a freakout moment, and we're just glad to offer him relief. Updated now that he's 7.5 weeks: still great! I wash in hot, soapy water and they clean nicely. Beware if you use these near a blanket (it's winter, so he gets a blanket tucked in around his car seat and Rock & Play sometimes, as they can attract dust and hair (and in my house, dog fur!). They also fit nicely into a Nookums Paci-Plush stuffed toy, though the first time is tricky to get it in. I prefer the Nookums over Wubbanub, since the Nookums can work with many different pacifiers, and you can remove them for cleaning. I've even run my Nookum elephant through the washing machine and let it air dry and it looks brand new! Update: Right around when my son turned 3 months old, he didn't like the Soothies much. We bought the next level up (3m+), which are thicker, but he HATED those. He is now in love with MAM pacifiers - maybe because we use MAM bottles?

My newborn daughter's favorite.
We had 2 of these given by the hospital, but resisted using them until the end of the second month to avoid possible nipple confusion with breastfeeding. But since then, Soothies have been life savers (wife's and mine)! Most times, our baby daughter would be soothed by swaddling, rocking, shooshing, etc., but sometimes just needs the comfort of sucking on the nipple between feedings. Anywhere from a range of a few seconds to minutes, she drifts off to sleep while sucking slower and slower. I've ordered 4 more to have another ready at all times (1 at my mother's, 1 at MIL's, 1 in diaper bag, 1 upstairs, 1 downstairs, 1 attached to baby). A friend recently lost one while out, and had to buy one at a store and use it without sterilizing (yes, the baby's still alive). However, the pacifier's not a panacea. She doesn't always like it, and even uses her tongue to actively push it out when she doesn't want it, then clamp her lips (very cute!). The pacifier has 2 small holes, of which you can use either to tie a pacifier strap like a BooginHead or Ulubulu. Unless you have ninja reflexes to catch the pacifier when the baby spits or drops it, the clipped straps are essential. A strap is also handy for carrying the pacifier looped around a finger, while carrying the baby. We also tried Nuk, which is supposedly shaped to allow better breathing, but she doesn't like it at all.

Don't get another pacifier - these do the job!!
I was introduced to this model/brand in the hospital where I came home with 2. Every baby is different and mine took this one immediately after the 2nd day she was born (thank goodness). It is extremely durable and easy to clean. I with either place mine in the microwavable sterilizer I used with bottle parts or wash with hot, soapy water & rinse. My baby has rejected a couple other brands (by flat out spitting them out or I take it as "rejection" when they don't "pacify" her and she keeps fussing). This one always works so when I find something that works baby-product-wise I stick with it! Why I ordered more here on Amazon - quite simply - the small size makes them easy to lose and I have a laborador that I have to be quick about grabbing them if I drop them since she has likened them to one of her toys (sheesh!). So there is no fault of this product - I just care to stockpile these. I keep them in the nursery, in my nightstand drawer, in my diaper bag and in the car. They have 2 good-sized holes where I can easily string a paci-clip through, too. I will for sure re-buy and highly recommend to expectant mothers trying read reviews to determine what to get in advance. This would make my top 5 list of must-haves.

BEST PACIFIERS EVER!
As a new mom, I only recently discovered the absolute need of a pacifier for a new baby. We started out with several different kinds of pacifiers, but these always end up being the ones that we use. We ended up buying multiple sets of the same pacifiers. These are nice quality and easy for my son to keep in his mouth. He seems to spit out any other kind of pacifier. I also like that there is a small hole behind the nipple where I can hold my finger there to hold the pacifier in baby's mouth or just to hold it outside of baby's mouth. Even my son (at 3 months) is able to wrap his tiny little fingers around the ledge of the pacifier and basically push the pacifier back into his own mouth! The price is just right and I would probably pay even more for these because I like them so much. Many of my friends that have babies agree that these pacifiers are the best ones on the market! Do yourself a favor and get these pacifiers! ALSO, i must add that these pacifiers also have small holes in the front that allow you to easily attach the pacifier clip.

The only dummy my son takes!
This soother might look a little weird or funny, but decided to give it a go due to the good reviews from breast feeding mother's. This is the only dummy my 7 weeks old son didn't refuse to take! To all the parents of whom children refused soothers, give this one a go! I'm glad I did.

My baby likes these
My exclusively breastfed baby would not accept any pacifier because of the teat. However he seems to like these and when he wants to suckle for comfort I offer him this pacifier and he is happy. He doesn't have a pacifier all the time. Only when he is wanting to suckle for comfort rather than having him on my breast constantly

Poor design
The round disc like base covers baby’s nose and while he can still breathe, it isn’t comfortable and prevents the dummy from staying in his mouth. MAM comfort 0+ do the same thing but with a butterfly vase design making it more comfortable when it sits on his face.

life saver- only one my baby took too
After trying various types and brands of dummies, I ordered this as our last hope and thankfully she took to it. She's exclusively breast-fed and using the dummy did not affect her feeding. I've even ordered another one! Give this a go if you've tried all the others without success.

Only dummy my son will keep and sleep with
This are amazing and as it is one silicone dummy the baby will never be able to choke with it. Love these dummies, bought loads and have them around the house!
