FANTASTIC PRODUCT

I've had this trimmer for 6+months and have used it to trim up my moustache and nostrils. Today, per her suggestion, my wife used it to trim up my ears. It's a bit embarrassing to post this, but I'm doing it for others who may need a "trim" (you know who you are). It worked fantastic. Pic shows the left ear done, and the right one not done. This is to show the extent of the trimming effect. After we took the pics of the left ear, we trimmed up the few stragglers left behind. This did a great job, and didn't pull a single hair. BTW, if you wear hearing aids, this will lessen the "scratchy" hair sounds.

Mostly good, accessories make it better

Dislike: the nose hair trimmer works, but not as well as others I've had. Takes a little more time to get all the hairs. Like: the other accessories make up for the lackluster nose hair trimmer. I like the clippers for sideburns, and the "hedge trimmers" for taking care of long eyebrows. Overall, it could be better, but I'm satisfied with this tool.

The sideburns trimming thibby attachment works great!

The sideburns, beard, or whatever trimming attachment works pretty well. I didn't buy it for that, but have ended up using it quite a lot, to trim sideburns and the back of my neck etc. I'm still in the fence about the nose trimmer. I haven't used the cylindrical attachment yet, but I did prefer the old model without and attachment to any with a cylindrical one that I've ever used. Without that attachment and just using the standard attachment, this one is a bit different. I haven't used it enough yet to really see if I like it, but I wish the old attachment with the trimmer on just one side was still included.

This product had been massively improved

My old Norelco trimmer died after many years of service, and I'm glad it did. The old cutting edge was rough and cut me occasionally. I also hated the old plastic eyebrow attachment because it worked poorly and broke quickly. This new trimmer has a completely new cutting mechanism that uses either the provided nose hair module or the eyebrow module. These fit firmly over the cutting mechanism and each provides a perfect result. No cuts! The difference is stunning. I'm very surprised that a product like this has been so intelligently redesigned. All the old issues have been resolved. It's a great product.

Does the job.

I had an old nose hair clipper that just wasn't "cutting it". So I decided to get this unit. Good Lord! Not a nose hair left in sight. And I did my eye brows too! I don't use it every day but it seems to be holding up well! A good purchase for the price.

How dare you

So I have the occasional nose hair who likes to sneak out into the real world from time-to-time. I purchased this to see if I could keep everything in-house. Well I think it works but I can’t really tell. I don’t have a lot of problems with stragglers and idk if it makes a great difference. I guess it seems when I do use these that they work but the sample size just isn’t that plentiful.

Honest review of Philips Norelco Nose Trimmer 3000, For Nose, Ears and Eyebrows, Black, NT3600/42 This is what I ordered to replace another trimmer whose clipper comb broke. I ordered it for the uses described in the ad. Likes: Name brand that is normally reliable The option was available to order an additional head and carrying case for $7 more It is quiet It is lightweight There are two eyebrow comb attachments for different length choices The nose trimmer seems to cut quite nicely It is AA battery operated, one LIoN battery is included to get you started Blades and combs can be cleaned by rinsing under water I did not notice any pulling The heads and combs are easy to attach and interchange The price was reasonable Dislikes: The designated nose trimmer does not go vary far into the nose. I prefer to go farther into the nose with the nose trimmers. I had to use the elongated trimmer attachment without any combs instead The elongated trimmer, while using the eyebrow combs, did not seem to do a very good job of cutting/trimming my eyebrows. I had to do a lot of angle manipulation to get the job done Meh: At this low price point and the feel of the plastic housing, I question the longevity of this trimmer, and if it will hold up after some accidental drops to the floor (if that should happen) Hopefully this honest review helps someone decide about this product.

Great unit overall that comes with the Philips name as expected

Overalls this is a great personal grooming kit that is part of the Philips Norelco brand and family. All accessory attachments fit effortlessly and easy to use as per well explained instructions. The sound from the unit is quieter than I have had previously. If there is a downside it would be, that although Philips makes good quality products as you start using them you can’t help thinking well they could have done this better or they have forgotten to put this accessory in. But overall great value for money and quality comes with a easy storage sack for everything. Great Unit, easy to use. Time will tell how good it will be and last. I am totally happy with this unit and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this product.

Philips nose trimmer NT3600/42 - Not cheap but comes with a number of useful attachments. Reasonably easy to swap heads, use & clean. Only negative, this version has no cap to protect the cutting head or travel pouch....would be 5 stars if that was provided.

Expensive and ineffective

Phillips groomers are generally well made and functional but this one does not get close enough to the skin leaving stubble around the ears and in nose.

Rubbish

I had the old model for years and was very happy with it. So when I needed to replace it I bought this model which is next to rubbish. 1 star flatters it’s quality, also Amazon won’t allow you to return it.
