Read before you Buy
The design of the castle is one of the best I have seen - all levels are connected by a staircase and includes features which are really stimulating for imaginative play - balconies, tower rooms, afore mentioned stairs, windows which open and close, an archway to drive under and a locking gate. Be prepared to spend 6 hours on assembly (NOT an exaggeration). Also, have a pair of pliers and some crazy glue on hand. If you can assemble Legos you can handle this provided you know in advance you are adding the "snapping dots" to each piece using a tool provided (and hidden in one of those unlabeled bags), and that none of the parts are sorted or organized in spite of being grouped together in unlabeled bags. Also, the pieces do not satisfactorily "snap" together consistently, hence the need for pliers on occasion. I suggest applying quick-dry glue to some of the embellishment features if you do not want to be constantly finding small plastic pieces everywhere or making "repairs" when the pieces fall, or get pulled off (for example, glue the roses to the shrubbery, the stationary window grills to the window casements, and the sun dial to the tower wall, etc.). Once complete it is a fabulous play castle. I do not recommend moving the finished structure unless you have glued it together - the larger half of the castle is not structurally stable enough to hold its own shape during transport and will collapse. Fully assembled it has approximately a 24" x 48" footprint and about 36" in height so plan your storage space accordingly. The effort is worthwhile - it will provide hours of playtime and is beautifully detailed.

Like a giant puzzle!
Having fun putting this together. It's a huge job, don't do it if you don't like puzzles! Parts are random in the bags, you must search for them. But pictures are clear and step by step directions easy to follow if you take your time. My 74 yo brain is getting a workout. Worth it for the cognitive exercise, and because my granddaughter is going to love this.

This castle came with two brides and no groom.
Took 6 to 8 hours, pieces are not labeled well and in multiple bags with no certain order. You have to figure out which piece they’re referring to in the picture and then sort through. Frustrating. Also. Why did my daughters play castle come with two brides? This was not advertised. Why did they need to be brides at all? Why did they even include characters which are very ugly anyway. I appreciated the furniture but my intention was to use the Disney princesses that are like 3” tall from Walmart checkout lines. I did not need two brides and no groom. It’s like play mobile just wanted to make a point. Why do something controversial with a kids toy. Why not just leave them out if you can’t be inclusive, and by that I mean include all, even heterosexuals. I am not anti LGBTQ but, could they not have included one more character for those who would like to choose a heterosexual couple for their castle.

This castle is big enough to need two tv tray tables side by side, to sit upon. My granddaughter loves it.

A nightmare to assemble!
My 5 year old girl loves the castle but parents beware, this thing is a nightmare to assemble!! It took HOURS to put together... we managed to do it without losing any of the tiny parts (I think) but it would be a huge help if they would at least bag some parts together rather than having to search through piles of plastic for a specific piece that resembles the instruction diagram.

Total Nightmare.
When I saw 644 pieces on the cover I should have know it was going to be a disaster to put together. It is a nice castle but it takes a good 1.5 hrs to assemble. My issue is it only needs about 50 pieces and it would be the same castle. The molds could be incredibly more efficient which would cut the assembly time by 90%. Instead of 5 pieces, it could be 1. Makes an IKEA bookshelf look like a piece of cake…. Look elsewhere - life is too short to spend putting together poorly designed toys.

Great castle, a few flaws however
Great castle and very big (I wasn’t expecting this big). It is not so hard to build, but it takes time (expect 3-4 hours on it). There are nice features to it, but some downsides: (1) there were a lot of blue stains on some parts (maybe coming from the plastic bag?). (2) it is not super steady, e.g. some of the window glasses keep on falling, same for on the the main stair. These are not deal breakers, but worth being aware of. Overall still a very good purchase, definitely worth buying!

Nice castle
If you want to spend three hours of your life searching through multiple bags for one tiny piece, cussing and ranting that the bits just don't want to pop into place and loose all feeling in your fingers from squeezing bits together with such force that you wonder why the plastic isn't crumbling beneath your fingers then this is the toy for you! It's a shame playmobil haven't thought ahead and put the same components for one section into the same bag as it would have saved an awful lot of time. Having said that it is a beautiful castle once built and my daughter absolutely loves it.

Genervt und unzufrieden
Leider sind wir mit diesem Playmobil-Spielzeug nicht zufrieden: Zunächst war es sehr störend, dass man locker 4-5 Stunden für den Aufbau benötigt. Ein zweiter kleiner Playmobil-Schraubendreher hätte uns an Heiligabend wenigstens ermöglicht gleichzeitig zu schrauben. Für mich stellt sich die Frage, warum Playmobil die Bauteile in den Tüten nicht wenigstens etwas sortiert. Warum befinden sich Bauteile die zusammengehören in so vielen unterschiedlichen Tütchen? Man hat das Gefühl Playmobil möchte den Eltern (meistens dann ja an Feiertagen) mal richtig den Tag vermiesen (meine Tochter ist 4 Jahre und kann das Schloss leider nicht alleine zusammen bauen). Warum gehören bloß zu diesen Playmobil Mädchenprodukten immer so viele Blumen? Warum müssen die alle einzeln angebracht werden? Und warum fallen sie dann auch noch bei jedem Pubs wieder ab? Eigentlich sollte man sie direkt beim Aufbauen auf den Teppich schütten und mit dem Staubsauger aufsaugen...den das wird eh ihr Schicksal sein. Leider halten auch die restlichen Bauteile sehr schlecht. Fenster, Zäune und Treppen fallen beim geringsten Windzug ab. Besonders die Spitzen des Schlosses halten leider gar nicht. Mein Sohn macht sich immer ein Spaß daraus, zu schauen wie weit er sich vom Schloss wegsetzen kann und er durch Pusten trotzdem die Spitzen zum Runterfallen bringen kann. Vor allem vor dem Hintergrund dessen, dass es ein Kraftakt ist alle die kleinen roten und gelben Verbindungsteile in die Bauteile herein zu bekommen, finde ich diese Instabilität unverständlich. Ich hatte von einem Markenspielzeug mit diesem Preis eine bessere Qualität erwartet. Wir sind wirklich richtig enttäuscht.
