Not as Nice as I Thought It Would Be

I bought this fixture for a home that I am updating to sell, purchasing it at a discount through Amazon Warehouse deals. It looks more stylish but much cheaper than the chandelier it was to have replaced. I definitely wouldn't regard it as worth the full price. The finish is chipping off in a couple of places, as well. Will probably return.

Installation was a pain, fixture is smaller than I thought.

I like the look of this fixture and it fits in well with my decor. However, it is smaller and more "delicate" looking in person than I anticipated. It requires smaller than normal light bulbs, which I have had difficulty finding. Regular sized bulbs poke out from the top of the frosted glass and the only smaller bulbs I've been able to find are the ones where the base of the bulb is frosted (for lack of a better term) and therefore doesn't illuminate the entire glass, but rather, only the top. I tried to get a visual but of course, it's hard to photograph light so the picture won't turn out. In addition, the fixture is very hard to get each of the arms to be level and for the glass "cup" portions to be at a 90 degree angle. Ultimately, despite the attractive price point, I would've returned this item if installation hadn't been such a bear. But man, my husband worked as an apprentice electrical engineer for a few years, installing and wiring massive substations and digital highway signs and even he had a hard time. I'll probably wind up replacing this fixture in the future because I'm just not happy with it.

Good light for our front room.

It is a good light, not a great one. It was an easy install. I cut the chain and ran two chains from mount to the light. We have the lights upward facing. I was slightly disappointed with the quality. By "slightly", it was like getting a scoop of chocolate ice cream that wasn't as big as was hoped for. That is the reason for just 4 stars. Visitors to our house compliment us on it, we like it.

Nice light with good quality materials

Nice light with good quality materials. I bought five different Progress brand lights and they all were equally nice but in all cases the installation instructions were poorly written. The instructions included a simple drawn assembly diagram; no parts listing; no nomenclature description, just alphabet lettering pointing to different part and without explanation. If you are experienced in assembling light fixtures this won't be too difficult. Otherwise give yourself extra time.

Looks clean and modern

This light fixture looks clean and modern. The brushed nickel finish matches the rest of my door knobs, faucets and light fixtures perfectly. We chose to use bright white LED bulbs and the overall look is bright and crisp. The biggest negative to this fixture wad the installation instructions. If I had never installed a light fixture before, I would be hard pressed to install this with only the instructions provided. Literally no step by step instructions at all. Just a bury weakly defined picture. Otherwise the fixture looks great!

Beautiful fixture, terrible instructions

I've installed chandeliers before so it was ok for me, but it was absolutely not a beginner-friendly install. They'd be better off just slipping a piece of paper in the box that says "just go look at YouTube videos lol." Aside from that, the fixture looks beautiful and modern.

Looks decent but absolutely terrible instructions

If you've installed chandeliers this style before, you're likely okay to install this one with the 1-page of instructions with sparse text that comes with it. If this sort of stuff is new to you, please try finding other sources on how to install - search, YouTube, etc. - I feel the item may as well have not been sent with any installation directions at all. Oh and a word of warning about the customer service: I reached out over chat on their website (certain that I must be missing some info) and was told they don't have any documentation on their website nor do they share it over chat. What sort of customer service is that? Apart from the absolutely terrible documentation and customer service, the chandelier itself is decent looking. The experience so far deserves a 2-star rating.
