Great quality and true to size

These board shorts are true to size and the print is vibrant and colorful. The material is very soft and could use these as both board shorts and swim trunks. The only thing that I am not a huge fan of is the system to tighten the shorts. It’s basically a fairly thin sting and if you do tighten it up around the waist the material near the waist band scrunch up everywhere and looks pretty bad. Again these fit true to size and if you get a size larger then it may look bad tightened up. Otherwise I recommend.

Nice trim fit shorts.

These look great on my husband. He likes the thickness of the material (doesn’t feel cheap and too thin for surf trunks). Also likes the easy-close waist snap. Good value. One thing to be aware of is the sizing. The size chart says that a size 34 should fit someone with a waist of 33 – 36. That may be off. My husband has a waist size of 34 or 35 and these fit him great, but I think they would be too snug for a guy with a genuine 36 inch waist.

These PUMA standard essential shorts are nice. They're made well, they fit well. There isn't much stretch to them at all. I got a 34 and it fits true to size. The materialbis slightly stiff and tho it has drawstrings, it isn't a cinched waist. It still closed with a press together button and the crotch opens using velcro which most men can do without. I don't care to work out in these but I do wear them around for active wear such as running errands or a day I'm the park, dog walking etc. They get 4 stars from me because they're attractive short pants.

Nice Board Shorts, Pockets Need Improvement

These are nice shorts. I like that they are unlined and comfortable. My only criticism is that the pockets have mesh in the bottom that comes out when you are swimming. I also would really appreciate it if the shorts had a zippered pocket or even one that would close. I really like the bright red color. I've always worn bright color swim shorts so family members could find me. These fit the bill just nicely. Overall happy with the "PUMA Men's Essential Core Board Short".

Nice and simple board shorts

I was looking for new swimming trunks/shorts I could wear for water activities and glad I came across these. These are my first board shorts and I really like the minimalistic and flexible design. These also have pockets for convenience. The material is water repelling and of good quality. You can tighten the waist further using the draw strings but the snap closure ensures your shorts stay on. In addition, you can wear these with or without under garments without worrying about chafing as they run loose as they should. The only thing is the size chart may be a bit misleading. Get the size which fits your waist regardless of the inches which are listed in the description.

Perfectly fitting and comfy

These are quite comfortable to be in, normally swim trunks are irritating for me but these are actually comfortable to wear for extended periods of time. I'd definitely recommend
