Stopped working

This us an updated review. These lights stopped working within one year. No change in position or amounts of sunlight. Ordered 8 and they all stopped working.

Looks great BUT no light!

I put all eight pieces together and they looked real nice lining the pathway to the front door. I was disappointed after nightfall as not a single light worked. They are in full sun. The second day it was raining and very dark out so I thought that I would just give them a couple more days to charge the batteries because I really liked how they looked installed around the sidewalk. I am disappointed to say that not a single light shines after dark. I want to be fair so I will wait a couple more days before returning the lights to Amazon. Update: I did not flip the on switch! It is inside the bulb cover, which is inside the lantern cover! The lights work as they should once the switch is turned on! Ok, so I admit that I need to wear my glasses!

It doesn't really light

Instructions say light needs 8 hours of sunlight to charge. There is no area of my yard that gets 8 hours, so the light has never properly charged.

Great once I found the hidden on switch

There is a on switch. I finally found it. After these things being outside for 3 days and not coming on I finally found it. You have to untwist the top. Then untwist the actual cover on the light. It’s under there. Once they came on they look great. I have them in planters on the side of my garage door. They are small and not very bright. But perfect for what I wanted. I just wanted an accent light for decoration. I didn’t need it to be very bright and light up a walkway or anything like that. These are not for that.

Stylish and Sturdy

These easy to put together and look awesome hanging in my flower beds in front of my house. The light is low but provides a nice LED glow. Not warm glow. Whiter glow.

lovely little lanterns

Exactly what I was looking for although they aren't very bright. I'm sure they'll be brighter in the summer when they're exposed to longer periods of sunlight. There is nothing in the instructions indicating an on/off switch. I found this out because I thought I needed to replace the battery as the lights did not work when I initially charged them. While trying to access the battery compartment, which cannot be opened until the round lens cover is removed, I found the switch which if course was off. None of this is indicated in the instructions. I would suggest the manufacturer include more detailed instructions as I'm sure others have returned the lights thinking they're defective when they just need to be switched on.

Only stayed lit for about 2 hours

I just loved these lanterns, but after charging them for a couple of days in full sun, one stayed lit for 1 hour and the other for 2 hours, I even put new solar batteries in and still no luck, after contacting the seller I was told to return them to Amazon as they don't have replacement parts. Maybe I just got a dud.

Very Cheap and very misleading

They look like they’re big and tall and that is not the case. 24” high and did I mention cheap ! You can’t even push them into the ground stakes the metal is so weak, so we stuck em in our raised garden bed with the stakes. ( metal would have busted ). The screw insert for one section of a pole was not in the pole itself but we found it at the bottom of the box ! Like really !!!!! $33 cdn and they’re worth $5 if that. Garbage , garbage, garbage.

Great solar lights

I was looking for replacement lights and these are perfect! Make sure you take the cover off and turn the lights on. I saw people posting they don’t work, they do you have to also manually flip them on.

One of the posts with the Hook defective.

The thread one one of the 2 hook stands was too short and would not screw into the other piece. Typical low quality product from China.
