Great thorough saturation
The media could not be loaded. I've run a few hundred feet of this so far with more on the way. In the past, I've used emitters but always run into pressure issues or the caps unscrewing over time, which causes substantial pressure loss in the whole system. I have yet to experience pressure issues with this product. I use mostly 1/2 inch poly hose to get where I want to irrigate, then do very short runs of 1/4 inch poly hose off that. That's what my soaker hose connects to. I use as little as possible to maintain maximum pressure to the soaker hose. Longest sections of soaker hose I use are about 5 feet. The video is one of my beds with 10×5 foot sections. Keep in mind those hoses are now under the cover crop mulch, I just took a video during the pressure test. The 1/2 inch that feeds that bed comes off a 4 way splitter that also feeds other beds totalling about 150 feet of soaker hose(so far). I plan on adding another 150-200 feet because I think the pressure is more than adequate. I also have a large rose garden(separate system) in wine barrels with 46 on one 1/2 hose. I have many in smaller containers that I have programmed on a different schedule, otherwise they'd be in the same system with the other roses. It takes time to figure out appropriate spacing of the soaker hose, I do 16-18 inches but I'm still dialing it in. Takes much longer to saturate than standard sprinklers or emitters, but I think it's more thorough since gradual and slow watering allows the soil to absorb more vs running into the natural hydrophobic issues when watering too quickly. I'm very satisfied with this product and the price on here is cheaper than my local source. I do wish they offered larger rolls at a further reduced cost.

Simple easy to use tubing. Works great for planters and vegetable gardens.
Love this hard to find product. Got to love Amazon for having hard to find items.

So good!
I recently tried this product, and I'm probably going to use it to replace every one of those chintzy plastic sprinklers that drip irrigation kits normally come with. The sprinklers have to sit above the dirt and mulch, and are very prone to clogging, and are super finicky to adjust. This stuff solves ALL of that: it can sit under your mulch, or even under the dirt, it requires no adjustment, it's basically clog-proof, and it saves water and cuts down on mold and disease from not soaking your mulch. Its only competition is PE tubing with built-in emitters. But for those, you have to get the right spacing, they only spot-water, and they can clog. I've been using this soaker tubing by making rings around my plants, and tapping into solid 1/2" supply tubing with great success. This tubing is for sure my preferred delivery device.

Great when used properly
It’s a great product if used correctly, I use it in almost every configuration possible and I am very satisfied with it (Almost 150 ft. installed) After reading some of the negative reviews, (too porous, irregular flow) I would like to point out few tips to my fellow users, with Do’s and Don’t. In the defense of those negative reviews, I must say that the Amzn vendor could have left some instructions… If you look at a 3/4 in. soaking hose, you’ll see that they are equipped with a flow reducer, this one is NOT because it is designed to be cut to size, hence you have to use your own(s). If you remove the flow reducer on a 3/4 garden soaker, you’ll end up with the same issues. Let’s pretend that you have a 20 ft long PVC pipe, and you drill mini holes every inch. Now, open the water valve at full flow and full pressure. You’ll witness that the water shoots out of the first holes at full blast and that the pressure drops for every holes towards the end of the pipe: Each hole reduces the water pressure and volume available for the next one. If your pipe is long enough, the last holes will have very little flow to almost no flow compared to the first ones. Now repeat the experiment with reducing both pressure and volume, you’ll reach a point were you’ll find an equilibrium. The same laws of physics apply here, hence: - Use a pressure reducer: Drip irrigation systems are designed for 20 to 30 PSI, not 60 or 70 like your household plumbing. - Use a pressure compensating drip emitter or a valve at the beginning of the soaking hose. Choose your volume based on the cut length and needs of your plant(s) i.e. 2 GPH for 3ft. - If needed use 2 or more emitters based on the length (both ends) For small plants, or tomatoes, I do not recommend using a “closed loop” but rather a straight line with a goof plug that you wrap around the base of the plant: it can be easily removed/moved/extended If using on high slopes, gravity will kick in: Reduce the length of the cuts Do NOT make sharp turn or bend too hard. Do NOT let the water freeze inside If using “dirty” water, use a very fine filter or you'll clog it Don't burry the line: Plant roots will go through it. Leave the line on the soil and cover it with mulch. Lay it as flat as you can, otherwise water will drip to the lower point. As for the drip emitters, I recommend the Antelco CETA (with barbs). They are fully cleanable. The Rain Birds are not and I had a bunch of issues with Rain Bird emitters. I now stick with the best:
