Comfortable pack with awesome features!
I bought this pack for a 2-day climb I was taking to climb the Zugspitze in Germany. First of all, the backpack arrived quicker than expected and looked even better in person than in the pictures! Since I was traveling from the US to Germany with one layover, I didn't want to check-in any of my bags and risk losing any of my climbing gear. This means I had to pack my Roamm Highline 30 to the max, probably a little more than what was intended, but I got everything in there and the pack made an international trip without any burst seams or blown out zippers...very well made! Also, even though it was loaded beyond intended capacity, the hip-belt and suspension system worked perfectly and was very comfortable and allowed plenty of breathability to keep me cool. The Highline 30 was perfect for the two-day climb! I loved the different storage compartments. There was a larger one for all of my bigger gear, and then a smaller one to organize all of my smaller items without getting lost in the big compartment. There was also one more even smaller compartment on the very top outside for easy access to the things you might need over and over again. Because there was a lot of rock scrambling on the hike, I brought my helmet along, and the four loops on the back of the bag fit perfectly with my helmet carrier from another one of my bags. The features of the bag are well-marked. For example, there was a clear picture on the hiking pole/ice axe loops exactly where there poles were to supposed go and where the axe is supposed to go. This pack has taken a lot of the great features of other bags and combined them into one. I really enjoyed using this pack and look forward to other trips that will give me an excuse to buy another one of the Roamm backpacks!

Great suspension
Was looking for a frame daypack and this one is great…well designed and suspends weight well! No complaints thus far (I’ve only taken it on two hikes, but it did well in a snow storm)!

Similar to my Osprey
Seems to be of equal quality to my Osprey Mantra 28, which I've beaten on over the past 6 or 7 years while bike commuting 40 miles round trip in super hot temps and freezing cold mornings while carrying laptop and clothes, etc..The materials used and the make (or quality) seems crafted quite well. Nicely thought-out design and features and most importantly the air-flow system for the back sweat (called Air Wave) looks similar to the Ospreys as well... A "must" feature for carrying clothes to work. I will update this review once the Roamm pack is put to the real test...over the next several months, cold rainy spring and hot Summer. If I have to start using epoxy to hold it together I will be bummed.

The design was great with air venting in back and a wide belt ...
My wife bought this pack for me last month along for a day hiking trip I was going on. I had seen it on social media and was interested. I was very impressed with the quality of the fabric. The design was great with air venting in back and a wide belt strap that stabilized the weight of the pack and made it easy to carry. I really liked the extra exterior pockets that made it easy to stash little things like snacks and phone in easy to get to places. The most impressive thing for me is that I let my daughter who is 12 and 5'2" carry it for a while and it adjusted down to her size, no problem and she loved it so much she took it with her to girls camp the following week as her primary pack. I hadn't heard of Roamm before but they did a great job with this pack. It is the best 30L I have ever had and I've had a few!

I LOVE this pack
I LOVE this pack! The ROAMM Highline 30 is PEFECT for a long day hike. I got it just in time for a hike on the 4th of July when I summited Lone Peak in the Wasatch Front, Utah. One of the best hikes in the area. My GPS recorded 14.4 mile round trip with 5,800 feet of elevation gain toping out at 11,253 feet. I had the pack loaded up with water and food. The suspension is the best, I forgot I even had the pack on. The shoulder straps and waist belt worked in balance to distribute the weight perfectly. Plenty of pockets and carrying capacity. I love the 2 belt pockets for snacks and side pocket for my water bottle. The mesh suspension between the pack and my back provided great air circulation. I highly recommend the pack. It is now my go to for all day hikes

Well made backpack, but too big for my body
I really wanted to keep this backpack as it seemed well made, but I was not able to customize it to my body. I'm 5' 5", 112 lbs. I was able to make the hip belt fit after I tightened the straps as much as possible, but I couldn't make the shoulder straps work. The thing that bothered me the most was the chest strap, it was too low on my chest, pushing down on my breasts. I do believe that a larger built person would love this pack.

Did the job on Kilimanjaro
Used this on Mt Kilimanjaro. Awesome backpack with lots of features. Very durable - a great buy for the price. Two features I would have liked to have that were missing . . . An outer mesh pocket for easy storage of quick access items and I would have liked access to the pole / axe holder without taking the pack off. I ended up just wedging my collapsed poles between the waist strap and my body. Definitely recommend this pack though.
