Beautiful Light/Convoluted Installation Instructions

Beautiful light, per instructions “Adding Glass to Ceiling Canopy First” accomplishes a heavy fixture to hold over your head even with a second person assisting to complete the install. Per other reviews, screws to short. Made a rather large mess and noise as it shattered on the ceramic floor.

A beautiful light fixture but what's up with the glass?

This light fixture is super beautiful! Let me warn you, FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS for install. We decided to put the glass on last and that was a mistake. It was such a pain to get on! So follow the instructions and put the glass on before mounting the fixture. The included screws were not long enough to get the fixture mounted so we ended up having to use screws from the previous fixture. Installing lightbulbs is super easy as the bottom of the glass is open. Speaking of the glass though, what is with the "raw" edge? One side had a few chips, which we hid on the top, and the other was simply rough and raw looking. I don't know if this is intentional or what but it made it feel a little "cheap" vs the rest of the fixture. Overall, I really like this fixture and it looks great in my laundry room!

Looks nice from a distance.

Installation was pretty straight forward, but the mounting screws were too short and I had to use longer ones. The base also didn't come with any insulation. The globe doesn't fit tight, so it's a bit wobbly. They didn't buff the globe top and bottom edges, so they are rough and have a lot of tiny chips. It's very noticeable with the light on.

looks great

I got this just before the holidays to make the dining area look a bit nicer and I am really pleased with the results. We don't have these high ceilings that you see in a lot of newer houses because our house is so old, this kind of limits lighting options. This one is just low-profile enough that it works for our house while also being interesting and adding a bit of class to the room. Paired with some low-output LED "Edison" bulbs and the combo is really nice.

Great for a ccoffe bar

I rather enjoy this fixture; it went perfectly over our homemade espresso and coffee bar. We made a roughcut wood bar with the coffee bean bags lining the back wall and then installed this over the station and it looks amazing. The fixture arrived well packaged and was super easy to install. Light output is going to depend on what bulbs and temperature you want. I went with a very warm bulb to keep with the warm kinda rough look.

Super happy with this light

I installed this light in out sitting room, which we call our bourbon room, and I couldn't be more pleased with it. It fits the ~10x10 space very well. I will say that it was slightly challenging to install primarily because they mounting screws that it came with were not long enough to mount to the base plate. Luckily I had some screws on hand that were the correct diameter and a longer length so I was able to get it to work. I also want to note that it was challenging to have the glass portion installed before attaching to the mounting bracket, but it was necessary since you couldn't get the 3 metal pieces to hold the glass in place otherwise. That said, once it was installed I am super happy with it and have received multiple compliments on how nice it looks.

Modern light, look amazing, challenging to install

I am so happy with this light. The color is brushed bronze and it looks beautiful. The light looks like something that would be twice the price. The round glass shade feels modern and elegant. The light goes well with modern, midcentury, traditional, transitional, or modern farmhouse decor. It's definitely a statement piece that elevates your space. The downside - the fixture was challenging to install. It was very tricky to line the screws up for mounting while holding the heavy, slightly awkward fixture. Some tips: - Assemble the entire fixture before you mount it. - Use a good ladder so you can maneuver and see well. - Enlist a second pair of hands to hold the fixture while you screw the mounts. - Put the bulbs in after it's mounted, or you can't see the holes and screws well enough to work. Overall, very happy with this product. Would recommend.

Beautiful Light

Instructions were clear and easy to understand. I did need to use the previous screws from my last light fixture to install these as they fell short from actually mounting it properly. The brushed bronze is pretty accurate, and is a really nice way to dress up a smaller area.
