Better than expected
The media could not be loaded. Fast shipping first and for most, I am glad to adopted this light weight C4T GEN 2 Mojave brown boot ???? ….

Material on upper part of boot does make noise (krinkle sound) at first.
I was worried about the noise the upper part of the boot material was making when I first purchased them,(almost returned them) after weeks of use , the upper material makes a little noise (krinkle sound). I just trusted that as they got worn in they would stop making the noise... and after several weeks of significant use the noise is far less. Carefull when you first open and ensure the toe box is not misshapen, mine was, but I chose to just use them as is. when you order wide they are acutally wide, I am used to ordering wide for normal feet, these are actually wide and will be extra roomy if you have a normal width foot. I like the look of the entire boot, and was excited to find something in a size 15 which also ran true to size. The boots price point seems high, for all the competition out there at lower price points that are good builds as well. but I am happy with the look and perfromance for these several weeks. I am also the size of an NFL lineman, and they seem up to the task. (use superfeet insole, but their insole is amazing too.) UPDATED! once worn in these boots are quiet and super comfy.

Pretty Good Boots
These are pretty good boots. The soles are very comfortable; literally the most comfortable military boot I've ever had! Although these are good, there are a couple things that need fixing (reason for the 3 stars). Color: I was pretty dissatisfied in the color. They have a light picture and then if you scroll down you see darker pictures of this boot. The actual color seems more of just Coyote and not Coyote Brown (compared to my other Coyote Brown boots). The Coyote brown I've had before is usually darker. Rocky has another lightweight boot in the suggestions at the bottom of this one whose actual true color is Coyote Brown. I would've ordered that one but it wasn't on Amazon at the time I got these. Laces: These laces are somewhat short. I've broken my boots in (been wearing for about 2 months now) and I still have to constantly, excessively tighten these to get them through the top eyelets of the boots all the way. This creates little room for a double knot, which is needed. I really like these boots but I may need new laces. Width: This wasn't actually bad at all. I always get wide sizes but with these the wide was actually really big. Again, not a bad thing, just got a regular size and they fit great. The toebox is also pretty wide already so I would suggest getting a regular size unless if you wear maybe an extra wide shoe or something.

Had the boot for 2+ years
I have trouble finding wide boots and these fit perfect. Bought them during my deployment at the end of 2017 beginning of 2018, and they are still serving me perfectly in early 2020. I was looking to buy another pair of boots to start breaking in and I came back to look at these same boots and was surprised to see such bad reviews. Although I do agree with some things that were said I don’t necessarily consider them bad enough to give these anything less than 5 stars. The two boots are slightly different in color and have faded from a true coyote brown to a lighter coyote or dark tan. But still coyote enough to stay in regs. They are a little heavier, and that seems to mostly be in the sole. Which I don’t mind because in these two years the sole and tread have barely worn down and haven’t fallen apart at all. I also have not experienced any of the tears I’ve seen in some people’s pictures. The price does seem to have gone up a little bit from what I remember when I bought these last but I plan on buying another pair. I’ve had these for 2+ years and see no reason why they won’t last me at least another year or two. The best and most reasonably priced wide boot out there. Even if I didn’t wear a wide ide probably buy them. They’ve lasted longer than any other boot I’ve had.

My satisfaction is higher the the CDC's inflated numbers.
The only complaint comes from my lady, because of me not cleaning the soles before going in the house. I have had these boots in the mud and muck pretty much from the time they were delivered, and they are doing great, both in keeping my feet dry (my lady d treated them with wax/followed by a bit of heat), but not picking up foxtail. I'm very happy, and plan to purchase another pair when there is a good sale. To let you know how hard I am on boots, Many times I've spent $500 to $800 on a pair. Once I picked a pair up at the local shoe shop. A place that tells you to bring them in for a cleaning/conditioning/check-up, about every 3 months. Well I went back, they took the boots and repeated the 3 month thing... I looked at them and said it was another clerk that sold them to me 4 weeks ago. . This pair of boots once the mud is dry, brushes right off. And the stitching is holding up great.

Comfortable Boots with promising future.
I wanted to write a review on these boots as well as discuss the common discomfort in the left boot. These boots look like the C4T but are a bit different. Although I have always loved the C4T, they are essentially sneaker boots and aside of utility around base when you really get out an about they weren’t great for the environment. These boots seem more substantial in their construct of the sole as well as the leather. They looks similar however are a bit more stiff initially. Not with regards to the pain inside the boot for the left foot. I found this common with most Rocky’s. It seems the construction of the leather leaves a flap that will slightly fold over right near your toes, if you don’t flatten this flap out it will bring a pretty good bit of discomfort while you wear. I found that you need to fully loosen the laces and position your foot inside sliding it back and forth to let the flap sit flat. After a few times of wearing this way it shouldn’t matter anymore as it will soften and not fold over anymore. Hope this helps, a bit of a pain (literally) but I still like the boots a lot.
