Won't stay stuck
So I bought this because I have a stand up shower only and was hoping this would help with shaving. Well it stuck well, but as the walls get wet it slips and slides all over the place. I don't want to add anything to it, the suction is good. But it won't stay put when I put my foot on it. Disappointed.

Problem-Solver for my Little Shower World
I've been using this for 6 months or so and it works pretty well. It took me a few tries to get the thing to stick in our standard fiberglass-type of shower which is very small, but that was my own fault. I found that the surface has to be completely air-dried to apply it and you do have to make sure you completely lock it down with the little lever underneath as indicated on the instructions. I do believe the surface will have to be completely smooth for this product to work which ours is. This has been the best solution so far for our problem of having too small of a shower for a woman's needs. It works great for resting your foot while shaving your legs and while you can put a fair amount of weight on it, don't overdo it. I did put too much weight on it once and I felt it snap or something - I thought maybe I had broke it. When I continued to try to put weight on it again, it slowly slid down the wall (and it would not refasten to the wall) and it was rendered useless for time being. I had to wait til the shower air-dried completely before refastening it and try it again. Wouldn't you know, once again, it's working like a charm and all is well again in my little shower world. UPDATE (6/10/2015): Photo included. I still have this product, but find it comes off the shower wall a little more than I like now and sometimes feels in my way. However, I now use an 11" gripper handle for showers attached horizontally at a comfortable height for my foot. It has 2 of the these strong suction cups on the ends and so far has been sturdy, a little sturdier than this product, though you still cannot put all of your weight on either of them, of course. It doesn't stick out as far from the wall this way which is good and bad. Good it doesn't feel in your way as much, but bad that the foot space isn't deeper. Still, it is working great. Pros and cons to each of these methods. I purchased a little ceramic top plant stand that sits just outside my shower around the corner that I leave empty (so it's handy) and will grab that and set it right outside my shower to place my foot on. This method works the best, but I do have to watch how the water runs off my body so it doesn't flood the floor outside the shower. lol It's handy though to have a little extra space to set my shave cream though. I actually prefer this method over the other two, but sometimes I use the others when I don't have time to dink with moving the stand around. At least this method is reliable - the other two, if the device should happen to move while the shower is wet, the are rendered useless until they can be reapplied to a dry shower wall. Guess it's always good to have a Plan B. ;) Who knew this poorly designed shower stall with no place to rest a foot would entail such endeavors to remedy the problems it creates?!

It works, but falls occasionally
Incredibly easy to install and use. Only pitfall, it does fall occasionally while using. I never apply full pressure on it either, so thankfully I haven’t injured myself with a razor. Use with caution. It’s still better than trying to balance on one foot or sitting on the shower floor to shave, so I’ll keep it.

Does not fit on a tiled shower wall and this was not clearly stated in the description
Not impressed.

Works pretty well on GLASS
I noticed lots of the reviews complained about this product on non-glass surfaces. I decided to try it out on our smooth glass shower wall because of the low price point. The alternative for me was a $50+ bamboo stool that took up valuable real estate in our tiny shower. (If you have a larger shower and are ok to make the investment, I'd recommend the bamboo stool option - much sturdier and will last longer I'm sure. Just wasn't an option for me.) I've been using the foot rest for a month or so, and it's only popped off one time when I accidentally put too much weight on it. I use it daily to wash and/or shave my legs. There really isn't room to bend over in our shower, so this product has been very helpful for me. For everyone who is bashing this product, keep in mind that it's a foot rest to help balance, NOT a foot stool. You should barely put any of your weight on the foot rest, and only use it to help balance all of your weight on your grounded leg. I would not recommend for elderly or people with weak ankles. I also cannot say how well this would work on non-glass surfaces. I would expect that the suction cup will eventually stop working, but it was $11 and I'm fine with only getting a year or two out of it. I'll update if it fails before then. So far, it's worked well for me.

Didn’t really work
It didn’t hold well in the shower.

Great for flat shower
Recently moved and didn’t have a place to shave my legs, our shower is a little textured so it doesn’t not stay suctioned to the wall, great for someone who has flat walls. Will be returning to get a stool instead.

I wanted this to work so bad but the suction is hard to work. You have to put a lot of effort into getting it to stick, and when it finally does it either slides down the shower or falls off when putting slight weight on it. Every once in a while it’ll get a good hold

Essential shower tool
I have recommended this to many of my women friends who are of a certain age and have trouble bending down to shave legs in the shower - it is strong and has good suction on the shower glass - it doesn't slide down. I take it off once a week to clean and put back in place. Good buy.

Sturdy and secure.
Really sturdy and great product. Took some time to get to the UK but worth the weight and does exactly as I had hoped. So far, the suction cup has not moved even with my weight and as it is adjustable, it has allowed me to find the perfect position to enable shaving of my legs in the shower much easier.

Sticks great!
This is perfect, I was a little hesitant because of the cost but it works perfect and has never dropped or slid off the tiles in my bathroom.

It doesn’t work. Suction not strong enough.
Useless. With even the slightest touch it slides down the wall. I have it stuck to a glass shower enclosure. Complete waste of money.

great idea
this is very handy for shaving my legs in a shower cubicle, has stuck well and hopefully will stay put, time will tell...
