Das Schloss wird als unsichtbare Sicherheitslösung im Schrank oder in der Schublade installiert. Funktioniert mit einem Magnetschlüssel, der leicht hoch oben und außerhalb der Reichweite von Kindern aufbewahrt werden kann. Für die meisten Schränke ist kein Werkzeug erforderlich. Could be amazing but…

So first I’d like to say these keep toddlers out. BUT.. one of my red and yellow tab things came already apart. So I tried to use the contact product support on Amazon to reach out to Safety First. It doesn’t appear to be the link. Looked up safetyfirst.com and that isn’t their website. It’s disappointing to pay for 2 locks but only get to use 1. I could return them and get new ones, but I’d have to uninstall the one, and if you cleaned up cereal from the cereal cabinet every day like I did in the past, you’ll just be disappointed like me that you paid for 2 but only got 1, haha. Moral of the story, check the little red and yellow tabs first to be sure they haven’t come apart, and if they’re together, be sure to be careful and don’t let them come apart. Then, this product is a 5 star product.

They work the best

I got this mini-me that constantly decides to grab the handles and bang out some drum solo and these have never let him get those delicious tide pods he so desires. I thought of buying the Chinese knock offs on here but seriously if you saw this little creature going full drum circle trying to get into these cabinets and they have always held the line.. well I couldn’t risk a tide pod ride so I bought yet another set of these expensive things. They get dinged a star for the price, they must be laughing on their yachts about people with kids buying them a second yacht while having no kids.

Great for keeping cats out of drawers.

I was having a big problem with my cats always wanting to open the drawers under my bed, there was so much fur down there it was ruining my stuff. I love having these "child locks" because of the ability to flip them "on & off" makes it so convenient when I need to get in & out in a row for awhile.

I should have purchases earlier

Got these after buying and installing the same brand and type that screws on. These adhesive ones are much easier to install. No drilling holes in your cabinet doors.

Worked for my dresser drawers

I couldn’t find anything that would work for my dresser drawers but these did! Only complaints are you have keep track of the magnets and my drawers can be opened about a 1/4”. Overall I’m very happy

Impressed

Reading non stops reviews for this type of item like many other things became too much. After looking at a ton of highly reviewed magnetic locks I finally decided on paying more money for the Safety 1st ones. Now I'll never know if the less expensive ones were just as good or not but I have no regrets to far. The product looks and feels quality, magnet is really strong, and more importantly the install was a breeze and there's zero chance that you will screw up and not have it lined up. The only person who hates it so far is my baby, she's confused and frustrated why she can't open the cabinets anymore. I'm a horrible dad finding pure enjoyment watching her suffer!

Amazing product

Amazing product. So glad I had asked the amazon community about them. We have painted cabinets and I was worried bout using the plastic magnet key on them. Added a felt floor protector used on bottom of chair legs as suggested by one reviewer thank you. Work great. Only suggestion for others is to put the top plastic part a little further back on the cabinet so there is not give so cabinets stay flush so that little ones dont get their fingers stuck.

Annoying Locks, Leaves Gap

So I wanted to love these, but I would never buy them again. The box we got was missing a piece, making one of the locks useless. We bought them for our kitchen drawers, thinking they wouldn’t create a gap, like the older style push down locks do. Unfortunately they create a gap that adult fingers can fit into and little fingers can easily get jammed. Also, the little latch sometimes doesn’t pop back up like it is supposed to and makes the lock useless. Overall they are super annoying because you always have to grab the magnet to unlock them and depending on your users, the magnet may not always be returned to a handy location.

Works great when they fit

These are by far the easiest kid locks to install. They have a great guide system that makes lining everything up incredibly easy. Removing them is fairly easy as well. I was surprised how easy they came off by following their instructions (pull a fishing line through the stick adhesive). Unfortunately, the locks are very large and will not fit a cupboard drawer that has a face plate attached. Most of the drawers in my house are 3/4" plywood with a face plate and not of the locks fit these drawers so be mindful of where you intend to place these.

Nifty but pricey

These were the perfect solution for a nice looking solid wood cabinet I didn’t want to junk up with straps and adhesive. Little dude is sufficiently puzzled and gives up quickly. Hopefully as he gets stronger they’ll hold up, but I like that they also come with screws for added resilience. And I love the function to turn off the latch so I can get in and out easily when I need to. We just leave the magnet key on the side of the fridge for easy access. A little pricey, but better than most of the options available on the market (we tried a few). Make sure you take a close look at your cabinet doors before purchasing!! This isn’t compatible in every scenario.
