Nice looking. Installation is workable. Slightly uncomfortable to use.

This is a very nice looking handle/lock on my front door. Installation was workable. It works fine, but the thinness of the handle makes it slightly uncomfortable to use pulling the door open. A fatter handle, like on my previous lock, gives the hand more smooth surface to pull on. But this is not a deal breaker. I plan to keep it and probably will get used to the feel of it. The lock itself feels sturdy and well built.

Cannot stand up to a 3 year old

I purchased five of these locking door knobs for my house. It’s been two years and out of 5, three of the tumblers are busted and the doors no longer lock. My three year old figured out that if a door was locked, he could bust the lock and now they are useless as far as having a locked door. If they cannot stand up to a three year old with normal human strength, I’m not sure that they are quality door handles.

Very tight on your door, great doorknob

Best part about this is how it unlocks when you open it from the inside when it's locked. Great doorknob. Feels heavy and high quality. I noticed it was very tight on my door compared to my old doorknob

Great door handles - good quality, wonderful aesthetic and ergonomic design

Love these door handles! We replaced all our gold door handles in our home with this design. I've worked within consumer design research for years and live in a modern-styled home so am pretty fussy about anything I put into my home. Not only does the brushed nickel look great but the handles are so comfortable and ergonomically designed. The previous handles that these replaced were excellent quality and nice and heavy so I was concerned that anything I'd replace them with would seem cheap. Happily I was wrong as so far these seem to be of great quality. And when I use them the feel is nice and smooth so the internal mechanism must be well made. Bonus: I've never noticed any fingerprints on them!! I often open a door and think "wow do I love these handles". Very happy with this purchase!!

Great handles

Handles worked great and look even better. My favorite part of these besides how they look is that you don’t have to worry about if it’s a left hand or right hand door swing because the handles can easily be remove and flipped.

Sturdy

These look great on my mahogany French doors. I used them to replace a plain, simple pair of round knobs that I never thought were flimsy until I installed these. They are hefty and attractive.

Great aesthetically and usefulness, could be more solidly built.

Great looking set of keyed door handles, much more functional than knobs. The finish has held up so far after a month of ownership, but time will tell. The handles do feel a little flimsy at times, I wish for the price that the build quality would be more solid.

Great, quiet levers

I've purchased these for all the doors in my house (along with the matching lockable bathroom levers). The Merano levers with the Century trim base are lovely, heavier-looking levers, that work really well. The one I had installed a few years ago that I got on a whim has never made a sound, and that was enough for me to want to buy the rest of the house levers of the same style. They are straightforward to install, all they take is a screwdriver and about 15 minutes. Just do yourself a favour and have a level with you to do a final check before the final tightening, especially if the door is painted. The big, rectangular base will leave a dent in the paint if you need to loosen and level the trim plate.

Classic look
