Pretty good!!

It’s sturdy and kiddo likes it! The painting is pretty good other than the area on the chin, probably a dud but kiddo likes it too much to return. Other than the slight painting issue, everything is good!

Teach Kids How Sharks Live

I bought this for my three-year-old grandson, who has a fascination and fear of sharks. I wanted to show him how interesting and beautiful they really are, even if they look a little frightening. This white shark model is an accurate representation without added cuteness or added scariness. The down side is it is a bit heavy and has pointy fins, so, until he’s older, I won't let him use it without supervision. He and I play with it and other water toys in his "water table."

2 year old is obsessed- “Oh no! Shaaaark!”

This was a gift for our two-year old niece after she fell in love with the shark in the little mermaid. I sent it to her in a whim, and now it’s her favorite toy. This random little shark. She goes to bed with it, uses it at bath time, warns alll of her other toys about it, and uses it to “attack” her baby brother (lovingly-shark does no damage). I recommend this to any little kid that likes sharks! Also it’s worth noting that it hasn’t degraded too much in the bath, as other reviewers have noted.

What in tarnation

Not to discredit anyone, and their painting skills but what in the actual world is this paint job? I could probably do this better after 1/5th and no food. This shoddy job is not worth $9.00, even if it is for my toddler. Pretty sure someone returned it, and the seller was like “let’s just paint over it to make it look new”. Lipstick on a pig.

Building a collection

Having had Schleich before, I have no hesitation in buying more. Originally, I bought some for a grandson in Australia and took over 2 Xmases ago. Now, my second g-son is of an age for more realistic toys/models, so I resume by buying a Tiger Shark, which arrived a couple of days ago. It looked lonely so I came back for the Great White. Great toy/model - well made and painted.

Shark not strong !!!

Shark lost it colour in week's time while the product is not strong.

Behold! carcharodon carcharias!

This shark is extremely scary. I am 40 years old & enthusiastic about all chondrichthyans (& to near equal extent placoderms). I have a respectable assortment & yet nothing prepared me for the shock & awe of seeing, for the first time in my own home, the tyrannical apex marine super predator carcharodon carcharias! Excellent detail, especially in the gill slits & multiple rows of replacement teeth (polyphyodonty). A fine specimen to add to your collection for children & big children alike. Just be careful at bathtime as this beast is unpredictable & possibly hungry! Where's Richard Dreyfuss when you need him?? "We're gonna need a bigger bath!"

Smaller than I thought it would be for the price but I suppose that's because of the brand.
