I'm amazed at how comfortable this is.

Re: the title. I'm normally a two-pillow sleeper, but when it came time to replace my old pillows (which each cost a little over half of what this did) I had a hard time finding something in a similar price range. So when I found THIS one I hesitated over the price, before I finally decided to buy one and see if I liked it enough to eventually invest in a second one. I'm... honestly not sure if I'd even NEED a second one. I might still get another in the future, I just don't know that it's necessary. My old pillows are super dense to the point that one of them would probably weigh the same as and/or be as thick as two of this one. And using two of the old ones props me up to a point more to my liking. And yet... I'm amazed at how comfortable I am just using ONE of this pillow entirely on its own. In fact, my biggest objection to this one (the same objection I have to the old ones) is this trend I've been noticing of companies putting the "care instructions" tag (not to mention the brand tag in this case) on the OUTSIDE of the pillowcase. Depending on what kind of sleeper you are, eventually you're going to feel that paper scrape against your hand or face. To alleviate that particular discomfort I'd had to tear the tags off of my old pillows (because the included case was part of the point of having that specific pillow), whereas here I simply grabbed a silver-infused pillow case that came with a sheet set I'd bought elsewhere and covered up the pillow that way. Not quite as cool as relying on the included pillowcase, and I still toss and turn enough to find the pillow half-uncovered when I wake up, but it works better than dealing with those tags.

Something weird with this foam

So, I never used this pillow. When I got it, I looked at the foam immediately. Like some other reviews, my pillow was missing chunks (small chunks, in my case). Additionally, my pillow had lumps of material that weren't soft. They were hard, and from the ones that were close to the surface, looked black/brownish? I almost thought they looked like flecks of wood, but I doubt that's actually what it was. Probably some material that didn't get processed properly in manufacturing? I contemplating just keeping it, but I was worried how the pillow would age over time - I figured the effect of the lumps would get worse as the pillow flattens. Since I did not use the pillow, it's hard to say how much of a cooling effect it had, but it did not feel particularly strong in cooling while I was handling it. I've owned cooling pillows before, and those were much cooler in my hands than this one. I ended up returning the product, as it wasn't worth the money for something so poorly made. (it makes me wonder whether or not this is a legitimate product from Serta. It came in Serta packaging, but the quality of the pillow makes me question this)

1000000 recommend this pillow!! I cannot sleep without this pillow, it always goes with me when I travel. I’ve bought & repurchased over the years. Even my husband had to have one after he continued trying to steal it from me. Perfect for back & side sleepers!!

Didn’t last

I’ve had it 5 months. There’s a huge, permanent dent where my head lies and there are weird bumps on one side like memory foam golf balls. My previous Serta memory foam (without copper) lasted 2 years and cost less than this one.

Great for back & side sleeping

I've been through more pillows than I can count trying to find one that's supportive enough for side sleeping but also comfortable for back sleeping. It seems like all pillows are either or. I've tried the ergonomic pillows with cut-outs for the neck or shoulders, but they are consistently too firm. I've tried thin pillows for back sleeping but they don't support my neck when I flip to my side. This Serta is finally the perfect fit for me. It supports my neck when on my side and magically compresses when I flip to my back. Planning to order an additional one to keep as backup in case this one is discontinued. As for the "copper", I have no idea if this makes any difference or if it's a marketing ploy, but the comfort of this pillow is the selling point for me.

RETURNING! Didn’t last a week.

With all the glowing reviews I figured this must be the one! Well after just one week. It’s on its way back! 3 marble like bumps appeared in the pillow , hard and horrible to sleep on!! This must be a GEL problem with this design. Otherwise a defective one that i was so lucky to get! For the price and to have this problem so quickly, i am not taking a chance and will find another. No more memory foam gel types! Customer service was excellent ….return so easy!

not worth it, after owning this for 6 months my neck hurts like heck

It was good to use the first few weeks and then it slowly got worse from there. I honestly wish I could return this pillow. I switched to a new pillow and my neck seems to be better, partner had the same issue with this pillow too
