As advertised, but works for other purposes too.

As a washer/spacer they work fine and look fine. If finish is important, rub them with a towel before using to remove any loose coating. They shine up to a nice semi-gloss finish. One side is perfectly flat, the other slightly curved downward at the very edge. Typical hardware store washer, only black. Now I am mostly using mine to glue to objects that need to be held by magnets. These have a good iron content and stick VERY securely. This size works great for a typical TV remote control or other, not very heavy object. It depends on the strength of you magnets. Those intended for magnetic mounts work fine. And, as previously stated, they look nice as far as washers go. I also have no problem using them in typical washer applications. They fit the appropriate screws just fine and are as strong as you would expect. Very consistent.
