Good litter option

I really like this bedding. We use it as litter in our guinea pig litter boxes. It’s soft and I like that it is healthier for our little friends. A bag lasts a long time - it’s really packed in there.

Pretty Good Animal Bedding. Absorbs ok, but paper is crumbly

I have had A LOT A LOT A LOT of small animals and I think I have tried every small animal bedding available. Unfortunately nothing works as good as it used to. Carefresh price is high and quality has declined so I was looking for alternatives. This absorbs fairly well and I am happy that the bag is very compact. (I've noticed Carefresh bags aren't as compact anymore meaning you have to buy MORE). There isn't a scent to this bedding. Biggest drawback is how crumbly the bedding is. I wouldn't recommend for tiny small animals, such as hamsters, mice or rats because of how sensitive their respiratory is. It is ok for LARGER small animals. Oxbow is still the best bedding (and most expensive!), but this works well enough. I will probably purchase again if price stays the same.

Best I have found!

I have tried all kinds of bedding and liners, for my bird cages in the past. This is the only one that actually has worked. It’s easy to clean easy to use and does not make a mess.

odor control is not great

As a pet owner, I always strive to provide the best for my furry friends, which is why I recently purchased Small Pet Select Premium Small Animal Bedding. While the bedding is good overall, I did have a few concerns with the product. Firstly, I noticed that there was a fair amount of dust inside the bag of bedding. This can be concerning for small animals, as they can inhale the dust and potentially develop respiratory issues. Additionally, the odor control of the bedding was not as great as I was hoping for, as it didn't fully mask the smell of my pet's waste. In terms of absorption, I found that the bedding wasn't the best. It didn't fully absorb the urine and instead tended to clump together, making it difficult to clean up. This can be a hassle for pet owners, as it requires frequent bedding changes and can be quite messy. Despite these issues, there were some positives to the Small Pet Select Premium Small Animal Bedding. It's made of natural soft paper, which is gentle on my pets' feet and provides a cozy sleeping surface. It's also reasonably priced and can last for a decent amount of time. Overall, while the bedding has its pros and cons, I would still recommend it to pet owners looking for a budget-friendly option. However, if you're looking for a bedding that has excellent absorption and odor control, this might not be the best choice for you.

Lots for good price. Does the job.

I don't think it does anything for scent, but it does absorb and there is a lot in the bag. I use for the litter pan in my rabbit condo. Rabbit seems happy with it, too. Have used about 3/4 of a bag and it has lasted a good while longer than the smaller bags I was getting from Walmart. That stuff was a bit scratchy and stunk. This stuff is much softer and doesn't stink as soon as I open the bag.

Dusty/fibrous

I'd like to address the so-called dust-freeness of this bedding because this is ridiculous in comparison to the carefresh brand. Both have dusty fibres in them but this really takes the biscuit. I was covered by the time I had filled my guinea pig's run, holding back a sneeze from all the stuff getting up my nose - I even managed to get some in my eye! I bought this product because the usual brand I get was out of stock but I won't be buying it again. I swear to god, if my pig gets a respiratory infection because of this I'll be ensuring they're held accountable.

My new favourite!

The media could not be loaded. I’ve tried LOTS of different natural hamster beddings but this one has to be my favourite so far. As always, I expected to open up the bag and be smacked in the face with a horrid smell coming from the packed in bedding, but not this time. Surprisingly, there was no smell at all. It broke apart nicely and is very light and fluffy. Makes it very easy to distribute throughout the habitat. Ruby (my hamster) loves it! Overnight she’s already constructed a sturdy burrow. Not to mention, it looks beautifully natural In there! I will be buying again.

Tiny bale

For the price I was expecting a big bale like finacard. The bale is tiny so ridiculously expensive, 56l sounds like a lot... I won’t be buying again.. back to the equestrian suppliers for a proper bale.

The dustiest bedding I’ve ever bought.

The media could not be loaded. Please do not buy this bedding, it’s the dustiest bedding I’ve ever purchased. I own 3 rats and noticed they were having sneezing fits and I usually clean their cage in the dark so I couldn’t see any of the dust clouds, etc. Today I decided to give the bedding a good shake and clouds upon clouds of dust came off. All my furniture is covered in dust, my clothes, my arms, please don’t buy this bedding WHATEVER animal you own. This cannot be good for their lungs.

Brilliant better than sawdust

I purchased this for my rabbit as iwas using sawdust before and found it got everywhere can be very messy but since purchasing the natural bedding paper i am very happy and pleased with it it might seam its not alot but its prefect size i have a large rabbit cage and it did not take alot of the paaper bedding infact it was much better than sawdust and i would definitly recommend it the price is great when my rabbit does the toilet the papper bedding does not spread out everywhere especially with pee and its easier to scoop out the cage without having to just about empty it unlike sawdust when wet it would spread far so if you needed to take out the used part it was useless but not with this paper bedding its fantastic best purchase ever will definitly get more when needed, Also when cleaned out my rabbit took me less time to do than normal with the paper bedding than it did with the sawdust so very happy and pleased with the time i have used it will definiltey be buying more and sticking to the papaer bedding will not go back to sawdust,
