Perfect once modified to use with landscape lighting system
Well these are perfect for outdoor use. These are made of some sort of plastic that is painted to look like metal. While some may not like that it is great for outdoor use. I have had expensive outdoor metal lanterns before and no matter what they tell you they will rust over time once exposed to the elements. These look realistic to me and you cannot tell unless you tap them with your finger. They come painted in a reddish copper color. These come with three candles that are battery operated. If you have used flameless candles you will find that gives very little light. Also you will also be replacing the batteries all the time. I opened this up and removed the battery mechanism and modified it to work with landscape 12v bi-pin plights. These are easily dismantled by removing some screws from the bottom. I painted them with hammered metal paint to match my outdoor decor and the final product looked beautiful. Now they go on with all my landscape lights and will last a long time. In addition the bi-pin bulb lights give out a perfect and noticeable amount of light. Overall once modified I am very happy with this product. I also attempted to us those flame flicker led bulbs but they still look fake so I stuck with the regular bi-pin warm white bulbs which look more natural to me.

Wow! Am I impressed with quality!
Bought two of these to flank my sidewalk in front of my porch. These are FANTASTIC! I will add a picture after I put outside but today it is snowing so I will wait until it's dry outside. I purchased these to celebrate Imbolc (Feb 1) but I can see there are many times I will use them outside, and probably inside too. These are very well made and I love the remote controls. My husband is also very impressed and pleased with this purchase. Will do another review (as I bought two) later in the year to discuss durability. Actually my husband is worried that someone will steal them, but I can't live my life worried about troubles that may not, and probably won't, manifest. Looking for one improvement: the screws to hold the battery plate are too short to adhere, so I'd recommend that the manufacturer make that one improvement; but, in my humble opinion, the screws are not necessary to keep the plate in place.

Pretty but not very bright
I like the size and look but it isn't bright enough to give much light. It's a nice addition to the garden.

Smart design bronze lantern
Beauiful lntefn and well made. I placed on fireplace, I also like it on my porch long side of my front door. The o ly thing abojt it is the tag said it came with a remote and i didnt get one. My husband even likes it!

Beautiful lantern
After searching in several home and craft stores for a large lantern for our back porch I decided to purchase this one from Amazon. It turned out to be much better quality than any I had seen. The 3 candles cast off a very soft light which is perfect for our needs. It is decorative and inviting. We love it! If you are looking for bright light this won't work for you but it is perfect for ambiance and adds a lovely touch.

Controller issues
The remote for the system works under the same as my tv remote the lights come on every time I change my channel

Great ambience for my bedroom
I actually bought 2,of these, and love them. They set on a high shelf so the remote is perfect. I wish the candles were a little brighter but it’s not a big issue. I’m thinking of purchasing another one in the future for my front porch.
