Decent and perfect for camping, travel.

I tried this as my 'go to' at home for a bit, but opted toward a french press after a couple of months. The unit was durable, easy to clean - - but some of my grounds got through the filter. Will definitely travel with it, though.

Great option!

This pour over brewer is great for camping. It's also a great thing to have handy for anytime you're dealing with a power failure. After the most recent hurricane, I was able to boil water and still enjoy a great cup of coffee.

Buying This For All My Outdoor Peeps

Purchased for a solo camping trip and love that it fits over any cup so I was able to use one I already own. It's lightweight yet sturdy and I don't have to worry about it getting broken when packed in all my cooking gear. No coffee filter needed, zero grounds in my cup and it's easy to clean. I would take a practice run at home before using it while traveling. Maybe others are smarter (or more awake) but it took me a minute to figure out how to take it apart for cleaning but it's really very simple. I would use this every morning if I lived alone because the coffee is THAT good. This would also make a great quality, useable gift for your coffee loving, camping, hiking friends and/or family.

PERFECTO, ENCAJA CON TERMO STANLEY CLASSIC DE 1.1 QT y Stanley Máster de 1.4 qt

El producto vertidor me encantó, encajó perfectamente con la boca de mi termo Stanley Classic de 1.1 qt con el cual puedo preparar café vertido directamente en el interior del termo, (sólo como dato tengo otro Stanley de 1 litro Aladdin de los 80s de boca más pequeña y en ese termo no encaja el vertidor en la boca), y así cómo en mi taza Stanley de 12oz Aladdin Stanley, el producto se lava perfectamente, basta con una sacudida para deshacerse del gabazo del café y un ligero enjuague con agua para eliminar el resto que queda en el vertidor, se siente un producto sólido con el tacto como un termo Stanley, es un producto hermoso que volvería a comprar. Acabo de encargar la Taza legendaria Stanley para completar este set de vertido, comentaré posteriormente. Actualización a 4 meses de uso, el Pour Over es excelente, me satisface complementarlo con la taza Classic de Stanley, es mi kit favorito de Por Over, sigo destacando su facilidad para limpiar el grano de café que se utiliza en él así como la facilidad de limpiarlo después de cada uso con un simple enjuague, luce bastante bien en mi café bar y para campismo sospechoso qué será igual de excelente, sobre todo por la solidez del mismo y su gran resistencia al ser de acero, un excelente artículo para preparar tu café o simplemente para coleccionar si te gustan los productos de Stanley y eres amante de un buen café. También encaja perfectamente con el termo Stanley Máster de 1.4 qt, y cabe perfectamente en mi lonchera Stanley. Nota: Preparo café en este Pour Over con un ratio de 1:15 y ocupo para moler el molinillo de Hario Slim Pro de acero con la molienda ajustada a 12 clicks, precaliento con agua caliente la taza Classic de Stanley y la desecho, después procedo a la preparación de café. FUNCIONA MAGISTRALMENTE BEM mas..

Sistema FUNCIONA E MUITO BEM. A moagem certa, mais grossa, o detalhe sugerido de colocar PARTE da água (NUNCA a 100°C, 95, se puderem medir ou o famoso “quase fervendo”). Agora… me ASSUSTEI E MUITO com TRIPLICAÇÃO DO PREÇO!! Em sã consciência, não posso recomendar a meus amigos e conhecidos pois não estou exagerando, saltou para mais de 3x o valor que paguei. NADA justifica isso. Observem nas fotos que é versátil! Quando fiz menos café usei o everyday, copo térmico da Stanley mas o composto encaixa facilmente na maioria das garrafas ou xícaras, direto. Vamos torcer para a Stanley Brasil trazer!!

Poorly Designed

Two issues. 1. The metal filter that comes with it just doesn't do a good job filtering. You get gritty coffee. Better to ditch it and use paper filters. That's not a deal breaker for me, but it was annoying and not what I wanted. It wasn't designed for filters so none of them fit right and its a pretty poor fix. Issue 2. The funnel at the bottom of this thing is a plastic piece that screws into place. It leaks. I think what's happening is that the metal of the body expands as hot water warms it and that weakens the seal with the plastic piece. If you're brewing coffee into a mug that's ok. But if you're brewing into a bottle as I do then there is leaking from the side. Either way, it shouldn't leak, but it does.

Weak Brew ,lots of grinds

I love Stanley products so when i seen this coffee pour over was a must have and the chance to eliminate paper fitlers was a great idea. i drink a fine ground coffee and water ran right throw making weak coffee with alot of grinds in bottom of cup switched to course grind and still same promblem.going back to simple makita plastic pour over with papper filter ,i got this on sale so my just end up in junk drawer

Gritty Coffee

Purchased for my son in law as he loves the outdoors and nothing better than a fresh cup of coffee, he was excited that he wouldn't have to deal with filters all the time like the previous system be had. Well, the amount of grinds in his coffee made it less enjoyable. He tried different grind sizes and different grinders. Purchased pre-ground coffee and still got grounds. He even cut out some filter paper to squeeze into the gap where it connects and while it worked a little better, it's a pain. Not worth the hassle. I wouldn't suggest unless you like chewing your coffee.
