Not bad, but not great either.
This is the weakest 100% cotton watercolor paper I've tried. I purchased it as an alternative to the more expensive Fabriano Artistico, and I intended to use it as my go-to paper for finished artwork. However, I quickly realized it was not ideal for my techniques. Masking tape, as well as masking fluid, will tear this paper every single time, and pretty badly. Glazing on this paper is nearly impossible, since the layers underneath will reactivate no matter how long you let them dry. Also, the cold-pressed texture does not look very organic. On a positive note, the colors dry very vibrant on this. I realized it worked better for loose paintings with minimal layering. So, it became my go-to for when I was teaching watercolor classes, since it is less expensive than Fabriano or Arches, but still capable to demonstrate some of the qualities of 100% cotton watercolor paper. I wouldn't recommend this paper for heavy glazing techniques, nor scrubbing (it peels very easily), nor masking fluid, nor tape. I would recommend it for minimal layering painting, as well as lifting. If you use lots of lifting techniques in your practice, this is the ideal paper for you. I've never tried a paper that lifted phthalos and quinacridones to reveal the white of the paper like this one does. I personally don't use a lot of lifting, so the fact that it lifts color so easily is a downside for me. I think if whether you will have a good experience using this paper or not, depends a lot on how you paint. It didn't suit my painting style, but it might suit yours.

Tears easily when using masking fluid
These are only bound on 2 sides which is rather unusual for a block. Originally I liked the paper until I did 2 paints where I used masking fluid. When I removed the masking fluid with a soft eraser, the paper tore both times. Pretty disappointing when you work so hard on a painting. I won't be purchasing again because of this.

Not packaged adequately
***UPDATE: Don’t waste your money. The paper is not fine. If you tape the edges, it rips. If you try to scrub paint off, little particles of paper come off. Arches is the best I’ve used and Bahong is very good and costs less than Arches. The paper itself seems fine, but they just threw it in a plastic bag to ship, so the corners were damaged and there are dents in the paper. This stuff is not cheap, so it should be packaged better.

This is the worse watercolor paper I ever used.
I bought this paper in December and this is the first time I used it. It totally ruined my watercolor painting. I used masking and when I peeled off the masking, the paper peeling off way beyond where the masking was. When I tried to lift colors, the paper came off in tiny pieces. I would like to return this but Amazon did not have anyplace on my archive order to do this. I will look into it further because I would not take the chance on painting anything using this paper. I gave it a 1 star for overall rating, however, it should be 0.

Paper
I am truly disappointed with this paper. It is stuck together so tight I can’t get it separated. Will never order again

Does not behave like cotton paper
Paper absorbs water as if it were high quality pulp paper. Sizing rips off when removing masking fluid. Don't bother trying to lift color, you'll just remove the top layer of paper too. Love restarting a painting after 12 hours of work.

Love it
I love this paper. But it’s bit more expensive.
