I ordered this gate to set some boundaries for my dogs and it does just that! I’m able to put my baby down without having a dog outside of the door distracting her from falling asleep. It was pretty simple to install and the instructions were easy to follow. It’s always a win when mom can get it done instead of having to wait weeks and weeks for dad to get around to it. Lol. The only downside I will say is it’s pretty loud. I knew it was metal when ordering it, but I didn’t anticipate the squeaky door and the loud clang when latching it. So I just close the door without locking it. I installed it to where the dogs can’t push the door open & it’s working out.

Attractive, easy to install and VERY sturdy.

Going back to work after 2+ years home due to Covid, one dog in particular was wreaking havoc in the kitchen while I’m away. She’s a strong 60 lb pit bull, who no doubt encouraged her sweet big 75 lb Doberman/pit mix brother in to helping reach stuff to chew. This has been an amazing, pretty addition that she hasn’t been able to budge at ALL. Extremely happy with this gate. And my 4 year old clever granddaughter, or her hulk of a 1 year old little brother can’t get it to move, either. 2 quick easy actions to unlock and lifting up slightly - so easy for adults. Not for kids, especially with the height. Did lots of research first and couldn’t be happier with this selection.

Nice Gate

Very happy with this gate, was a little concerned when I opened the box thought oh no only one extension needed both then realized the 2 - 4” extensions were put together fits perfect! Heavy duty extremely easy to put up, swing door latches nicely, great height for kitty’s brought in a new rescue kitty so purchased this gate to separate them till these 2 adult cats get used to each other in the video is my kitty Toby that have had for 4 + yrs a little put out by having a newbie here and she’s still working up enough courage to come out to see him since he scared her right off the bat. As you can see he tried to figure out a way to get thru not even close but he is a big boy, then eyed it up to see if he could jump over pretty sure he can’t after watching him since did the video. I chose to not mount it permanently stays in place firmly with just the rubber pads on top used 2 of the set of 4 rubber extension pads ordered separately on the bottom just in case. Beautiful walk thru gate well worth the price :)

Do not read the 1 star reviews

I bought two gates from two manufacturers. My wife struggled to install one while I made dinner. The next day I took this Summer one out and had it installed in minutes. My only complaint is the difficulty in removing the warning stickers. I am sure that’s on purpose but it makes them less aesthetically pleasing. I came back to read the reviews to see if anyone else had this problem. Instead I found the 1 star reviews littered with people that just didn’t read the directions. If you think the gate is broken because it “looks bent”, it’s because you probably took off all of the zip ties too soon and/or have not finished installation. Once you have it in place, tighten the bolts on the side and watch it straighten out to the point where the gate latches. It’s really quite easy. I wish this came in white. I would have ordered it for the other room.

These gates are perfect! Especially if you have dogs and a toddler!! My dog was jumping our old gates and these are tall enough that he can't and my daughter can not open or knock these over!

Very nice but not what I needed

Was specifically looking for 4 extra tall baby gates that swing both ways when open. This has a stopper at the bottom on one side that won’t allow that door to be opened either way. Will be returning, but otherwise very sturdy and I recommend if you’re looking for a one way door opening baby gate.

Holds a mastiff

Holds back a 110 pound mastiff with his front legs and chest draped over the top. Gate stayed put. Easy to open and close.

Best dog gate ever used

The gate is sturdy and pre-assembled. Securing it on the doorway was a bit tedious but the bolt turner helped. There are no cross bar to enable your dog to climb over. Great BUY!

Great overall gate !

As per the reviews I knew it was a bunch of pansy’s that we’re eating this gate wrong. I’m a 30 year old woman and I had 0 issues setting up the gate. There is a tag on the gate that tells you NOT to cut the zip ties until the end. Super simple. ! Will buy another one !

Not well made and many design flaws

I do not like this gate. The two stars is only for looks. It's a decent looking gate and would look good anywhere. Aside from that, it's no good! First of all, the way they designed the locking mechanism is silly. The locking part that sticks out should be on the swinging door, not the frame. Multiple people have gotten hung up on this gate and smashed their hip (adults) and shoulders (small kids) while walking through because of the lock piece that sticks out on the frame (see second picture). Secondly, I really dislike how this gate only swings one way. Wish I knew that before purchasing. I assume this is a feature for safety at the top of a staircase? But when used in a hallway is very annoying! Thirdly, it is very poorly made. The welding spots will not stand the test of time. The hinges are already coming loose after a month of use and lastly, the red stopper on mine has fallen into the housing, and is no longer safe as the gate could be pushed on to open it (see first pic). I've started the process to return. Do not recommend this product. It's cheaper for a reason! I've been a Summer baby gate user for many years and this is by far the worst baby gate I've owned. I have summer gates that are 9 years old and still working great. This one is garbage. Won't be buying this one again!

Great baby gate

Nice quality gate. I like that it is extra tall. Super durable. Just have to install correctly and it will work properly. For all the people who said it doesn't latch because of a gap it is because they didn't tighten it enough. If you can't tighten it enough and the bolts are almost all the way out, that is when you use the extended bar. The gate works correctly if installed correctly

N’est pas fait pour tous les types de marche!

Elle n’est pas fait pour être mis en avant des marches quand il y a seulement un poteau et un mûr pour tenir! Entre deux mûrs ça doit être suffisant j’imagine! Le design est beau et semble fonctionné, seulement pas dans mon cas. La rampe est faite croche pour que quand on l’ajuste, elle se ferme. Mais avec un poteau, la pression exercé pour refermer la barrière, crochit trop mon poteau et risque d’abîmer ma rampe!

This was a sturdy gate and I liked the look of it! I did end up returning it as it wasn’t long enough for the space I needed it for however I did like the sturdiness and the style of the gate! I would buy again for a smaller space
