Can be very helpful

If you have ever tried to get a nut or bolt, started in a very hard to reach place then you can appreciate these sockets. Often times you just can’t get your hand in there but these allow you to use an extension to reach into the tough places and get something started. And if you want to have a really bad day, you can drop the fact that you were trying to get started down into the engine somewhere where you can’t find it or whether you have to crawl under the car to retrieve it They’re only quarter inch drive still need that for very large fastener at all and this will only get it started, but you really can’t get much torque with a quarter inch drive. In other words, they are just to get them started.

Great for holding bolts!

Great so you don’t lose a bolt or can insert a hard to reach bolt. It’s a much better deal than the tool truck magnetic sockets. They work well for almost any application and very well made.

You needs this set for small bolts in difficult reach spots.

You will not drop the small bolts when you unbolt it from difficult reach areas.

I do auto collision repair, so I use 1/4 sockets a lot, as in 80% of the time. I’ve been wanting some magnetic sockets for hard to reach places, but I wasn’t sure if it was worth the investment. Boy was I wrong, these are fantastic. I hardly use my non-magnetic sockets anymore. The magnets are strong, almost too strong, but I think they’re perfect. I wish sunnex made a 3/8 and 1/2 set as well! My only complaint is that sometimes if you’re removing 10mm nuts in rapid succession, it can be annoying. Why? Because the magnet holds the nuts so we’ll that you have to use your fingernails to pry them out of the socket and it slows you down when time is money. Great set! Get them if you’re on the fence! I have only had them for a short time, can’t speak on long term durability or warranty claims. But for around a few doll hairs a socket it’s still a killer deal. Oh, and FYI these short socket magnets are significantly stronger than the deep socket sunnex version in both 10mm and 8mm. I know because I’ve used both. If you want deeps with a strong magnet, you have to go grey pneumatic, and they do sell them individually online if you look around.

Sunex exact stuff Matco sells but for 1/8 of the price

I loves these things . perfect for oil pans valve cover or any time u need to put something in at a distance and dont require 3/8 drive or bigger. the Magnets are actually stronger than Matco magnet sockets .. AND they dont cost 25$ a socket

Awesome buy!

Working on engines it would suck to drop a bolt in the engine bay or the engine itself. These sockets make it easy to remove and install without the worry of dropping anything! Would buy again if needed!

Nice little kit

I haven't push those socket to the limit but yet, for the price, they are hard to beat. The magnet hold strong and stay in place. They fit all bolts head size perfectly, they resisted my 1/4 impact yet and torque around 75 Ft-Lb like a breeze. The case it very nice and close tight and keep all socket in place. There's even a small spare space that I personally use to store a little 4 inches extension.

Wish I had found this much quicker, no more disappearing 8 & 10mm bolts/nuts into the engine bay. ???? Very solid build with strong magnets. Rare sockets on 1/4 drive: 5.5, 14 and 15mm.

Worth it all day long!!

Great item, especially if ypu are using it for places that you can only fit your finger, the magnet is strong, and to be honest its a great little product, at first I thought it was going to be very cheap but for what you get for the price, its a great deal!
