Really Bright but some arrived broken

These lights are really bright but some did arrive broken. Why didn't I just return them, you ask? Because some of the bulbs were out in my bathroom and I was going slowly insane an needed to change them. I decided for the small cost of 3 broken bulbs, it would not be worth the hassle of returning all of them and waiting longer for new ones. I just hope that they last and stay really bright for a long time. The ones that I had previously didn't stay "daylight" bright for very many months and they are in the bathroom so don't get used for many hours in an average day, maybe one hour a day as I live alone. I should have expected broken light bulbs when I got them online with shipping, etc.

This bulb is really bright and a great value

This is a daylight bulb, equivalent to a cool white fluorescent light in color. We use them in back areas, utility rooms, areas that need a lot of light and areas where color is not important. In my opinion, at 5,000 K degrees it does not work well in living spaces. We use the same bulb designed for 2,700 K degrees that is closer to the sun color temperature, more like a warm white, so it doesn't wash out all the color in the fabric or paint colors. We have an equine barn where we didn't use the 5,000K temperature bulb either. We use the 2,700K bulb because the animals also probably wouldn't like the colors washed. Even a pig looking in a mirror putting on lipstick probably would prefer the 2,700 Kelvin degrees model. At 8 watts of power, this series of lights are a great value. Our barn is on its own power meter. There are 12 bulbs in that building. It doesn't matter how long we let the bulbs burn during the day. The power bill is always the minimum billing.

Great Product !

I think that this is my 3rd. re-order ! I'm replacing ALL of my incandescent bulbs in my home to LED ! You really don't realize how many light bulbs that you have until you start replacing them ! The 16 pack is the best way to go to save money on a complete changeover. They put out PLENTY of light because they are CLEAR bulbs and they don't have that blue tint like a lot of LED's ! If you want a good, bright LED bulb, this the way to go ! I love 'em !!!!!!

Resolved one issue, to gain two others

I purchased these LED bulbs by Sylvania to replace others I had purchased a few months ago (B08LDML9XN). The ones I replaced all started flickering to annoying levels. So far these bulbs by Sylvania have not been flickering, however they do have two issues: 1) They do not dim as much as other brands, dimming to about 40-50% at the point just before the switch is turned completely off. 2) They whine unless they are turned on full brightness. If I dim them at any point less than 100% full brightness, they whine. My dimmer switches are made for LED bulbs (Skylark Contour Slide LED+ Dimmer Switch). So in my attempt to solve one issue, I inherited 2 different ones. On the upside, they are bright and are not flickering (yet).

One was broken

I ordered 16 bulbs. Package arrived with no visible damage. Upon opening package I discovered one bulb was broken.
