I am pleased with our purchase and would recommend it

This rain gauge has been an elegant addition to our herb garden. We appreciate the large-sized numbers and chamber - it allows us to read the water level from our living room window, without having to actually go outside. The only thing I don't care for is emptying the gauge - if I just lift the glass out of the stand and turn it over to empty it, the ruler falls out. It's not difficult to hold the ruler inside (or put it back inside), just means I have to take off a work glove - but the design could have been simpler. Also, the glass feels very thin. That said, I am pleased with our purchase and would recommend it.

Nice rain gauge

It really looks nice and it's easy to read. But it's not easy to remove the tube as the top comes out and you could break it.

Easy To Read & Accurate

It’s bigger size maximizes accuracy. It’s pleasing enough to leave out. Mainly it is highly visible from afar. Good value, appearance, accuracy for the price.

when you empty the gauge, all the pieces fall out

I expected a better product from Taylor. This rain gauge is attractive but low volume rainfall is difficult to read ( .5 or less ). and when you tip the tube to empty it, the cap, the scale and the bracket all fall out. Also one of the photos in the description show a thermometer, but there isn’t one.

very attractive addition to my landscaping

highly recommend this seller and product. When I pulled this out of the box, the glass was broken around the top. The packaging was great so I'm sure that it was broken before it was shipped to me. I called them and they immediately sent me a new one. Within just a few days I had my replacement and they also told me I didn't have to return the broken one. The product itself is very attractive in my landscaping and it's big enough to see across my patio from my window. I will say that the glass does seem to be a little more fragile than I would expect of an outdoor product but so far it has withheld some very heavy rains. I would still recommend if you're looking for something a little more attractive than a cheap plastic rain gauge.

Love this Rain Gauge❤

This was a gift for my Fiance' to replace the one that broke this winter. We have it stuck in a plant container on our deck. It is a nice design, well made and easy to read from inside the house which is great when you don't want to go out into the elements to get the reading. It also came with brackets to mount the gauge on wall or post if you prefer. I love this gauge and more importantly, my fiance loves it!!

Nice large print.

The rod is a little bit flimsy, but it serves its purpose. The tube is glass and contains a nice measuring gauge strip with large print. I placed it in my flower bed outside my living room window and the print is large enough to read from inside the house.
