Much better light than traditional bulbs!
I was a little disappointed when I moved into my new apartment a few months ago and found that the bathroom required EIGHT bulbs. Of course, it came with bulbs, but they were the cheap, clear, incandescent ones that I hate -- I always feel like that little visible filament is trying to blind me. So I headed to the store and bought the white bulbs. Unfortunately, I didn't have the funds at the time to go high quality, and they've been burning out faster than I want to spend money on better ones, which has led to my putting some of those clear ones I'd put aside back in. I finally bit the bullet and paid more for these LED bulbs, not so much for energy savings but to save me the trouble (and money) of having to replace bulbs over and over again. And I could not be happier with the results. These look almost identical to the white bulbs I had previously, but they give off much better light and absolutely look better than those ugly clear bulbs. They're rated for 20,000 hours of use, which they advertise as lasting 18+ years at 3 hours a day. But my bathroom lights are on for more like 10 hours a day (that's part of where the dog hangs out while I'm at work, so I'm ridiculous enough to leave the light on for her). Still, even at 10 hours a day, these bulbs should last me for 5+ years, and at this price, that's an awesome deal! The saving money on electricity part is just an awesome bonus! UPDATE: When I initially tried these bulbs, I bought a single 3-pack. At just $13, these were a steal as far as LED bulbs go, but on my limited budget, it was still hard for me to part with $13 for just three bulbs -- especially since I can get 3 or 4 times as many incandescent bulbs for this price at the grocery store. It hasn't been terribly long, but more of my old conventional bulbs burnt out, so I but the bullet and bought two more 3-packs. And they are awesome. My bathroom is now a bit brighter without being blinding, they've outlasted every other bulb I had, and with the money I save just in replacements, they're already paying for themselves.

They are still going
I bought these in Jan 2019 and they are still going, much better then a lot of the other "long lasting" led bulbs I have bought in the last few years. LED lights were supposed to last for years and years compared to regular bulbs. So far these are living up to the hype. I'm buying some more today.

I like these. Hoping to get a long lifespan out of the bulbs.
I have been using multiple-generations of CFL globe-style bulbs for over 20 years in my bathroom fixture. They never made the rated lifetime, presumably due to the nature of lighting a bathroom. Turn on for 45 minutes in the morning, then turned on for 2-5 minutes at a time the rest of the day. My last set of CFL bulbs have really been disappointing as far as life (had 2 burn out after 2 years) and warm-up time (5 minutes to full bright). Definitely not saving money with that short life-span. When a bulb recently burned out, I had no spare to install except for one of the 22 year old incandescent bulbs I had put away. I was tempted to just keep using the incandescent and wait for a good LED version to come down in price over the next year or 2. I found these TCP LED bulbs in the meantime, and I decided to tack it on to another order I was starting to get my free shipping. I bought the 3-pack of 5W non-dimmable version. This is replacing 9W CFL lights (which replaced previous 11W CFLs of years past and 40W incandescents before that). I am only installing 1 to begin with and will deploy the others as the CFL lights burn out over the next 12-18 months as I expect. $19 for a 3-pack of bulbs is only about $5 higher than a 3-pack of CFL globe bulbs was at my local Menards store. Figuring in a much longer lifespan (at least I hope that will be the case) and about half the energy use, this is a good-enough price for me. I wanted 3 so I would have a matched set of bulbs eventually. The light is fully bright right away. It is about the same intensity as the CFL bulbs after they warm up for 5 minutes (see my photo). The color is actually a bit warmer than the CFL bulbs, but this does not show in the photo like it does to the naked eye. I think the CFLs are a 3000 Kelvin on the color spectrum. Just a nicer light all-around. No bright spots, the entire globe glows uniformly. No buzzing like other reviewers mention, and it turns on instantly, no delay. Now I can't wait for those other bulbs to burn-out and put the rest of the LED lights in.

VERY bright, great light color, instant on, no flicker!
Great bulbs! These are in a bathroom light with eight bulbs, they're a nice replacement for the traditional G25 bulb and the white non-lighted part at the back really is not a problem, I thought it might be. They're a great replacement. They are VERY bright, and come on instantly. They are BRIGHTER than the 40W incandescents, we have them side by side and they're brighter. It's actually a problem because if we put in eight of these it's going to be too bright. For an eight-bulb fixture you might want less bright ones. Or you can get a tan, if you like. Still much better to be too bright than not bright enough. The color of the light is VERY good, best of all the bulbs we've bought and tried. One drawback is that they are plastic, which is fine but there is a little tiny nub right in the middle of each one from the injection molding. If you cared you could probably remove this with a razor blade. I tested the power usage with a kill-o-watt and it read 4.7w, although the current read a little more than what 5w should be (a power factor thing) either way they are VERY close to 5W which is great because some LED bulbs are not rated accurately, these are. If we put these in the entire fixture that takes it from 320W to 40W which is amazing, except it will probably be too bright!

much better looking than incandescent, last longer, and are cheaper to run ... a big win in my opinion
I bought these to replace 6 standard incandescent globes in a hallway bathroom. The globes were working fine, but the kids would leave them on all night and I would find the lights on in the morning. This was irritating and it happened several times per week. Considering the extreme cost of electricity in my province, it was bothering me out of proportion for the crime itself. So I decided to look for decent looking LED globes. When these arrived, I was immediately impressed by the quality of the bulbs, as they were built much better than the cheap bulbs I'd been ordering directly from China. Once installed, I marvelled at the fact that they actually look better than the standard globes because the plastic is more uniform, creating a perfect circle of clean white light. The old globes had a lot of thin spots on the glass, which made the surface of the bulb look mottled. So these will last much longer, are just as bright, and look better than the originals. What's not to love? One caveat -- if you use these on a mirrored strip fixture, you will see the reflection of non-lit plastic, which won't look great. The bathroom in which I installed these has a brushed nickel surface, and these look great.

Great LED globe bulb
Just the right illumination and brightness. Soft white is nice and not harsh. Sturdy build and a good price.

A pleasant bright light
These are excellent. They are very bright, and a nice pleasant light, not too glaring or blue. A warm white, but not yellow. Perfect. They even look okay on a mirrored vanity backing. I was worried it would look really bad because the mirror vanity fixture would reflect the covered up bases of the bulbs, but it actually doesn't look too bad..... I would prefer if it didn't have the blocked off base, but for that I would have to go back to incandescent bulbs, and I really don't want to do that. Maybe someday they will have G25 LED bulbs without that solid base on them. I hope so.

Good value for the money
They are good bulbs and a decent price

One star off for one nonfunctional bulb
I bought 3 of these packs (9 bulbs total) for my bathrooms and one of the bulbs was nonfunctional. Apart from that, they've all lasted 9 months so far without any issues. I wish these came in a cooler temperature, but for this price and the slash in the electricity bill, I don't mind the warmth. They are very bright.
