Great quality but not easy. Needs a video

I was happy with the price. It wasn’t easy to install on my Volvo XC70. My husband ended up rigging it up to work. Now it is working great.

Good quality but lengthy install

Installed on my 2011 XC70. Tekonsha products have always worked well for me. Harness arrived quickly. Most of the harness connects quickly, although I took my time to make sure the wires were hidden and protected from damage. As I've read in other reviews, the instructions are vague. Hardest connection to find was above the headliner and it takes some time to remove panels without damaging them. I was able to run the power wire up to the battery inside the car under the door sills and through the (unused) clutch hole in the firewall. Whole install took me about 4 hours. Once connected, the harness worked perfectly. The instructions deserve a 3-star but I'll stick with the 5-star review because it's a quality product.

Not an easy install, terrible instructions, but works well.

Instructions say "20 minute install" I hope that's a joke. Seems to work well. But the instructions are terrible. There is a connector that has to be installed in the middle of the ceiling near the back hatch-which requires removing 4 pieces of interior trim. It took me forever to figure out where it went. Hopefully this info will help someone else...
