Comfortable, but a quality issue with recent order

I’ve worn Silk Skins for several years. They are comfortable while also feeling secure and providing easy “access”. They are especially good in the hot and humid Texas weather because they prevent chafing if you’re active. The only problem I’ve had is that the waistband on one of the recently purchased pair is separating from the fabric. Because the location of the separation is at the waistband I don’t expect this particular pair to last long. Too bad because these briefs are a bit expensive. Previously purchased pairs, however, have lasted for several years with no issues, so I still recommend them.

U-Trou Perfection!

I guess that I consider myself a U-Trou EXPERT, especially with regards to Boxer-Briefs. Within the last 12 months, I have bought a dozen pairs of Me Undies, a half dozen pairs of Tommy John, and most recently, 8 pairs of these Terramar SilkSkins LIGHT Boxer Briefs. Short answer: These are THE ONES! Though I can't vouch for their long term durability, they are the most comfortable of the three by a long shot! Also, if you happen to have a bit of a bulging midriff (not that *I* DO, you understand!) these do a most excellent job of holding same in. The cherry on the sundae - the waistband does NOT "take a set" like both the others, which after several wearings, now have a permanent "crease" in the middle. Both my Me Undies and my Tommy Johns are now residing in my Goodwill bag - yeah, I DID wash 'em first! Having a horizontal fly just puts these "over the top"; it's one of those ideas that makes PERFECT sense - to the point where you ask "why don't ALL boxer briefs have a horizontal fly?!" Easy access, easy "re-sheathing" - like a quick draw holster! I'm playing it on the safe side by hang drying these, rather than hammering them in the dryer; but at less than $10/pair, a man could go through 3 pairs of these at the same cost as a single pair of Tommy Johns or Me Undies - No Brainer!

Really nice, but may not have a lot of longevity.

I really really like these, but I don’t think they last long. As you get thinner and softer material, you lose some time with them.

Great underwear. Period.

Update: I took 1 star off because they are pilling quite a bit. That being said, they're still so soft and are that pair of underwear I look forward to putting on. Great underwear. Period. Well worth the money. These are my 7th pair of Terramar underwear, and they've all been good. 6" and 3". The 3 packs are good too. I've tried Tommy John's and was terribly disappointed. They were $30 for 1 pair and within 1 day I had a run in them like women get in stockings. My Terramar underwear have held up great. These fit perfectly and feel amazing. Do yourself a solid and buy em.

Go with your typical size, ordering up a size or 2 unnecessary.

I've bought other underwear off Amazon before and everyone says "order a size or 2 larger" since different country have different sizes than the U.S., You won't need to do that with these. Lightweight soft material, fits like a boxer-brief than a trunk. While soft, the wait and is bigger than I would like but the fact these non-cotton drawers have a fly makes that a non-factor. Form fitting where they need to be, roomy up front. The stitching on the bottom of the thighs could be thicker, but they don't ride up. I haven't washed them yet so I don't know how they'll hold up.

Will change the way you think about Mens Briefs!

These underwear are amazing. Don’t know how they do it but it is sooo comfortable that you really do feel as if you’re wearing nothing. Also, that opening that allows you to pull out your member without pulling down the waistband of your briefs is perfectly placed. I’ve used other underwear brands with a similar design but they just miss the spot. To be honest, I was one that would always purchase the regular white briefs and for that matter at a cheap price. My wife got me one of these and since then I’ve never looked back. These briefs will completely change your perspective on comfortable under wear. When I run out of my clean ones and have to wear other types or brands, gotta tell you, I truly miss them.

Softest ever

These are the softest briefs I’ve ever had. Very stretchy and wicking fabric stays cool. I am 33 waist, but I find the large fits best.

Extremely comfortable

You will not regret getting these performance underwear. I needed performance underwear for some winter camping I did a couple years ago, and cotton was highly discouraged in the colder elements. So, I purchased Underarmor, Gander Mountain guide series, and SilkSkins. The SilkSkins are the best! They are the most comfortable of the three I tried. They are much better than cotton boxer/briefs due to the fact that they wick moisture away and dry fast. In the summer they keep you dry and prevent chaffing. I had trouble finding them in the big box stores, but thankfully found them here on Amazon!
