A little thin

Its a nice pad. Definitely wouldnt use this by itself on the ground unless its sand or grass, you sink all the way through it. I have the Outfitter xxl cot and it is great on that, which is good cause thats what i bought it for. I bought it for $120 which i think is a little exoensive for what it is. The material is nice. The pocket for a phone is kinda useless, its hard for myself to reach above my head like that. Side pockwts would have been nicer. This also has a roll bar to assist in rolling it back up. Its a 1"x2" piece of wood. I could have done that. And the foam is not dense enough at all which is the major issue. Like i said, on the cot its not a huge issue, as a separate pad you probably wont like it. Im 6'2, 295 lbs or so. I like the product but it could be better. I feel for the pricez just go buy some cheap mattress topper and get a sheet for it or make your own.

This pad is nice for the Teton cot but...

I absolutely love the cover material, the straps that tie off to the cot, the built in tie straps, and the accessory pocket on the top. The only thing I'm not a huge fan of is the quality of the foam pad inside (for the price). It's just a regular run of the mill low density foam pad. I would have preferred a high density foam / gel pad. Luckily, the cover unzips for pad replacement when the time comes, so I'll think I'll hold on to it. I'm not so sure I would be so happy with spending this much on a pad if I didn't own a Teton cot of the same size, but since I do- the cords that strap the pad to the cot it's a great bonus, as it keeps the pad from sliding around. Also fits the cot fully. Many pads are much too short if you're a tall fellow.

Exactly as promised

Exactly as promised. Easy to unroll and roll up again. Looking forward to our next camping trip as it’s a great addition to the Teton cot.

Fits the cot perfectly!

This is a must have for this xxl cot. Has loops to keep the pad from slipping. Very nice. Super comfy. Great quality.

Not worth it. Too thin and soft.

I returned it and bought a piece of 4-in foam which was firmer and had fabric put on it for half the price at a local foam mattress store. The cover is of decent quality but the foam is much too thin and too soft. It was not $200 comfortable and offered very little support. I had it on the outfitter XXL cot which sinks like you're in a hammock. This did nothing to improve that. This is made for a cot that holds a maximum weight of 600 lbs. Many heavier people would be buying this and they made the foam so soft and thin it doesn't make sense. Of course a thicker foam would make it a little bulkier but the whole setup is bulky and I think it would have been worth it. A firmer denser foam would also have been a good idea. It's way overpriced for the thin soft foam that it is.

Size Matters

I found the size of this pad to be adequate for me. I am a side sleeper and 5’9”. It’s very large even when rolled up and takes up most of the back seat area of my vehicle. At 2 1/2 inches thick it provides modest comfort at best, when used on the floor or ground. The outer shell seems to be made of durable material. I will be pairing this with the Teton xxl cot and that may provide the extra comfort that I’m looking for. Update…. The combination of the cot and mat together is a winner. Keeping in mind this is a rather thin mattress pad sitting on a cot that has just a bit of sag in the middle it is pleasantly comfortable but not like a bed. A raise to 4 stars

Comfortable... requires a lot of space to store though!

Very comfortable, well designed. Only complaint is it is HUGE , even when rolled up, even with compression straps. Also make sure to air it out for an entire week, I thought the foam had an odour... as for comfort, wow, slept like a baby last night on it...

Very well made, comfortable and well designed. Washable outer fabric.

This is not particularly light or small. It is very well designed and is of top notch quality. Paired with the XXL Teton Outfitter, this is a very comfortable guest bed that folds up a lot smaller than a murphy bed etc. and isn't one of those punishing sofa beds. Of course, has the added function of a large, comfortable camp cot for longer term camps where you can justify or have the space to transport or deploy.

Very comfortable cot topper

I used this to top my Coleman cot, and I’ve never slept in a tent more comfortably. We car camp, so the size of the roll was no issue. It does roll fairly tight, cover can be removed to wash, and the pad is thick enough that I didn’t feel the cot underneath. Very pleased
