Suits me, but not for everyone

I bought this dress to wear around the house or walk on the beach in very hot humid summer weather. It seems great for those purposes because it is made from very crisp 100% cotton fabric (not "rough" as another reviewer said) that won't stick to my skin. If you're looking to make a fashion statement, though, be aware that the dress is kind of shapeless. The blue version is striped with light and dark blue, as mentioned in the reviews. One thing I don't like is the fact that the sleeves are shorter than they look in the photos, although unfolding the cuffs makes them a bit longer. EDITED TO ADD: I went up 2 sizes to be sure this would be loose and comfortable; however, my usual size 2X would have been fine. I've washed the dress since writing my initial review. It didn't shrink but did wrinkle.

Size down!

So I got this in my normal size, a medium, and I was like iffy about it… I liked it but wasn’t sure if I would really wear it. I exchanged it for a size down and now I love it! It’s so comfortable! It looks good with a belt and without, with sneakers or sandals. I will wear this a ton in the hot florida summers.

Unfortunately, I didn’t like the blue on blue stripes, I think white abd blue would have looked much better

Structured Cotton Shift/Shirt Dress

I really like this dress with a belt! Belts are making a comeback and this coin belt (on saw from anthropology) matches perfectly. I plan to wear this dress on vacation in Spain in September. This dress has a good weight/feel to it and is shirt-like as expected, however I’m not sure how I feel about it without a belt because it’s fairly shape-less (not necessarily a bad thing) but also give me pajama-vibes due to the length. I’m 5’8” and usually a 10-12/L or XL in dresses and I got the large, but I am ordering the blue dress in a medium to see if it still fits but is less fabric overall. The sleeves do stick out a little but that doesn’t bother me. Also when I wear a belt I can still put my hand in the pocket (in case that persuades someone who is worried about pocket-accessibility is on the fence).

Not blue and white

The images made it look like the dress is a blue and white stripe - like a classic men's oxford. Instead, it is light blue and darker blue. The fabric is a rough cotton. It is not possible to wear a belt with this dress because of where the pockets hit. If I keep this, I will probably be wearing it open over a tank and pants. I haven't decided, but it's definitely not what I was expecting.

Cool, Crip and Comfortable with Pockets!

I love this comfortable dress because it has POCKETS. The material is cool and crisp cotton and has a substantial weight - definitely not see through. I do wish there were darts at the waist to give the dress a bit of shape, but overall this dress is exactly what I wanted.
