I purchased the 8" screws. Be aware that the image provided does not match the product description. I needed an 8" screw with at least a 3" a 4" shank and at least 3" of thread. I could have bought FastenMaster Headlock screws at Home Depot, but the thread portion on that is only just under 2". I found these and liked them because, based on the image, I figured the 8" screw to have about 3.5" of thread. Just what I needed. I ordered the 12-pack, which arrived 4 days late. Worse, upon inspection the threaded portion is only 1 7/8". No more than the FastenMaster screws. Had I known, I could have bought the FastenMaster and avoided the delay. It seems the image accompanying the product description is only a 4" screw, which gives misleading proportions.
