Strong Competitor for KT Tape!

To start, this is an AMAZING product. (Tips for application & removal @ the end) I am currently an occupational therapy graduate student and have previously used KT tape for my knee and wrist in treatment. I actually like this tape MORE than the original KT tape brand. TheraBand is slightly thinner but doesn't lack on adhesion. I have fairly avg skin sensitivity and while it isn't super comfortable to take off (like any other KT tape) my skin is back to normal within 30 minutes. The hexagons are also super helpful for application and applying the correct stretch! It also makes it much easier for you to tell someone else how to correctly apply it to an area you may not be able to reach. *****TIPS & TRICKS***** *Prior to application, make sure to remove hair from the area about 3 hours before and refrain from any perfume or lotion. (instructions say 1 hour, earlier will only help with skin sensitivity) *Use the guiding lines on the back to cut strips thinner or smaller (round edges on the cut end to reduce the corners rolling up) *Pay attention to the hexagons for stretch (key is on the back of every piece) *I only leave mine on for 3 days and allow my skin at least 2 days to breathe in between uses *When removing, DO NOT RIP, pull slowly and keep skin tight. Allow tape to soak prior to removal. Dawn dish soap actually has worked best for me to cut through the adhesive. *If using a large amount or removal is very painful, cut off the chunk that is removed and give your skin a break for a bit!

Work great. Caution though..it's very adhesive and pulled a couple layers of my skin off.

Worked great except I got a really bad rash.

Used this tape for my SI joint and my upper back pain. It was wonderful for 3 days. I felt a slight itch buy then it wad gone. I removed it from my lower back and there was slight irritation but it went away. The pieces that were on my upper/mid back left an honestly terrible rash. It's red, raised, bumpy and itchy. It hurt in the pool and I couldn't put benadryl on it due to open lesions on it. I think I'll try it again on my lower back because it helped so much. Maybe the skin was more sensitive in the area. If I try it again I'll definitely have someone else help me remove it. I think the adhesive was the problem though, based on the severe reaction.

Fantastic Product!! Worth the buy!

I love this tape more than any other tape I've tried. I have scoliosis and sciatica which causes chronic pain, but this tape has made everything so much easier! I can walk in less pain, sleep comfortably, and sit for more than 2 hours! Application is too easy, however removal does hurt. The adhesive is a little on the stickier side and does hurt a bit when pulling. I've noticed its less painful to pull up on the skin and pull quickly in a downward angle. If you can tolerate a slight amount of discomfort, I think this would be a great product!!
