The seat itself is very cheaply made

The rack is nice and sturdy but the seat is supper cheap. I ended up using Topic rack with Thule seat.

Good babyseat *until front strap broke*

I was glad this was in stock, and I was able to get it and enjoy it with my 2 year old daughter for about 4-5 bike rides. It seemed like a really nice baby seat. Everything about it seemed great, until........on the 5th or 6th ride, we were going uphill, and the front strap that attaches the baby seat to my actual bike, that strap broke. That strap's main purpose is to make sure the baby seat doesn't recline too much --- the baby seat is still securely attached to the bike (thankfully), so it's not like the seat fell off the bike or any harm came to my daughter...well, luckily, I happened to glance behind me as I was riding, because I had heard a *snap*, and as I looked, I saw my daughter was essentially dangling, completely horizontal (parallel with the street), as the strap had broke and so she had reclined backwards all the way to a complete 180-degree position (so she was basically looking straight up into the sky). I immediately stopped and had to walk back the rest of the way while holding her in the babyseat upright. Not sure why Topeak would make such a fragile strap on the front of the baby seat, everything else about the baby seat was good except for that. Makes no sense...that one weak spot ruins the entire baby seat. I'm beyond the refund/return window (by about 3 weeks, I literally just bought this thing about 1.5 months ago), and so...yeah. Pretty frustrating.

Does the Job, and does it well, but it's not perfect.

Bought it earlier this summer, wanted to wait a few weeks (and rides) before posting a quick review. Overall quality is good, solid, and fairly easy to install. For installation of the Topeak Rack go to youtube, because the instructions that are included are TERRIBLE (I am deducting points for this alone). I have a 28 month old, she is on the 70% percentile for height/weight and fits pretty nicely on the seat, however, I have my doubts that she will fit next summer. I also find the design of the "foot straps" poor, It would have been easier to install an "elastic band" instead of the useless velcro strap that comes with it. I am including a photo of my beautiful wife and princess, they love it! I bought a separate rack for my bike so we can swap the seat.

Not for disc brakes

This is a great bike seat. The product is awesome. We had problems with getting the correct version though. This Amazon listing says it is for disc brakes, but what we received was not for disc brakes. We returned it and reorders... And again got the wrong product. I eventually found another listing and ordered it and got the right seat for disc brakes.

Good but..

Purchased for need to remove seat when not in use! It works well but my only complaint is that my child slides forward and he tends to fall asleep when we go for a ride so I feel like I constantly have to stop and check his position! I have tried to reposition the rack and seat but nothing seems to help. Other than this issue the seat is great and the child is well protected.

Awesome Child Seat

This was exactly what i was looking for, super sturdy, super safe, very secure. It fits on my trex dual sport 2, my child is about 35 lbs and 3 1/2 years old. She has plenty of room and i would say a good 1-2 more years of being able to fit in this seat. It was super easy to install, it is very easy to attach / detach for when you do or dont want to take your kiddo on a ride with you. Love this purchase!

Great quality bike seat

Feels solid. The rack attachment worked with my disc breaks. I even installed it myself & I am not knowledgeable on bike/tool stuff, but a bike stand was super handy. My one year old (20 lbs, 30ish inches) has taken a couple rides and enjoys it much more than the buggy we used to pull around. It seems large enough to fit her until she can start riding on her own. It came much sooner than expected.

Really good child seat but need to buy with the correct rack

The product is very good but will only fit to a specific topeak rack. I have an older topeak disc 26 rack that the seat will not fit on to. There is a circular opening on the new topeak rack that allows the user to operate the bracket to attach the seat onto the rack. This means you can only use it on the new rack. You cannot use panniers on the rack when the seat is mounted Having said this, the seat is very sturdy and my son loves it, it is great way to ride to the park so we can both enjoy a bike ride. There is also an opening at the top of the seat to allow the child to wear a helmet while on the seat which is very good I only gave the seat 3 stars because of the lack of compatibility to other pannier racks
