Harder for pickpockets but harder for me as well
The purse had a lot to like. Easy to clean fabric, slash resistant strap that could be configured many was. I like that there was a zipper closer to me in addition to 2 zippers that had a little round metal clip that you could lock the zipper on. On mine, the clip was not well located and it was very hard to unlock the top zipper especially. So it was a great deterrent to pickpockets but I had a harder time when I wanted to get in than usual necessary. I loved that it could be worn as a crossbody and keep it in front of me in crowded places or could be a shoulder bag. I didn’t always lock the zippers though because of the difficulty, especially the top one, so that diminished the safety of the purse. So that is the reason for the rating of four. It still is a good durable purse

Great bag for travel—but it wasn’t new!
This bag has it all: soft, water resistant body; sturdy straps; so many pockets; tons of interior room; not so big it overwhelms you; and the belongings of the person who previously used it. I thought this was a new purse. I was wrong. It arrived with several items in the various pockets, including bandages and used lipstick. It appears it was last used in Italy thanks to the receipts in Italian. Due to the time crunch and the fact that it was perfect for my needs, I kept the purse. It was super clean and had I not found those items I never would have known it was used, all the tags were on it! This bag got me through full days of touring London, fits a water bottle and umbrella as well as external battery, makeup, and more. I used the mini bag from Travelon for shorter days and it was also perfect. It’s a pretty bag and I like that of the two exterior zippers, one is a dark gunmetal so you wear that side facing out for a sleeker look than the shiny silver zipper on the other side.

Top zipper lock unusable, strap too long
Loved the size and shape of this bag, but the location of the d-ring for locking the top zipper is so poorly placed as to make it almost impossible to use. I could only lock the zipper pull if I pulled it out so that it left the zipper a couple of inches open, and then I’d worry about items falling out. Poor design. Also even when the strap was at its shortest it was too long to carry as a shoulder bag tucked under my arm (and I’m 5’7”, so I imagine it’s even worse for shorter women).

Hardware is NOT gold
I was actually hoping the hardware on my purse would be gold but it's more of a dark gray metallic color. It's still nice looking but I was hoping for the gold. Overall, the purse is great. I do wish the side had an open pocket, rather than a zipper, but it's still wide enough to put my iPad in. I'm 5'2", 74 years old, and feel this purse will be great for an upcoming European trip. It has enough room to slip a shawl or light sweater in and I like all the pockets inside and outside. Lightweight and classy!

Awkward zipper clip, pretty blue color
I ordered this bag and a slimmer travelon Anti-theft bag at the same time to compare the two with the intention of returning one. This is the one I am returning. Overall I did like the pretty blue color and gold zipper. It comes with a small flashlight to be able to see down inside the bag easier. The loop to clip the main compartment zipper to is at an awkward angle. It is actually easier to clip it to the loop of the shoulder strap instead. I like the size and think it would be good for airport travel to put lots of essentials in to. The main reason I decided to return this one and keep the slimmer one I got is because this one is a little harder to get into quickly. I don’t want to be fighting with the locking zippers every time I want to get in my bag. Plus I know if I have a bigger bag, I’ll over pack it anyway and don’t want to carry any more than necessary for my trip. The slimmer option is just going to work better for me I think, but I think this bag is pretty good too.

Wonderful - I cannot say enough about this bag. If you're looking for a travel bag that's comfortable, attractive, not too big and not too small, this is it. I did extensive research before a 2 week European trip and ended up buying this bag and two others. I sent the other two back and kept this one. (The others were the Travelon Anti-Theft Ltd Hobo bag (which is very similar to this one, but I liked the look and the wide opening of this one more) and the Travelon Anti-Theft Ltd Clutch Crossbody Bag (which was just too small)). A few notes: - The zippers worked great. Other reviews said the zippers stick; Travelon must have fixed it. I had absolutely no problems. - I love the RFID pockets and the size of this bag. I could easily fit my passport, large iphone plus, many cards in the wallet slots, regular size plastic water bottle, sunglasses, paperwork/map/etc, lots of beauty products like lip glosses, hand sanitizer, lotion, etc. - It is very easy to make this a cross-body vs one shoulder purse. I've been wearing it both ways. - This bag is so awesome and multi-purpose that I ended up using it in place of a backpack, even on hikes. - I read other reviews about the gold, yes it is bright, but I liked that about it because it made it feel a bit more fancy and sophisticated, i.e. adding to it's multi-purpose appeal. Even since getting back from my trip, I've continued to use it as my daily purse. I'm incredibly impressed by the value for the money. AND, just last night, my friend (who usually wears only brand name purses) fell in love with it. So now I'm here buying one for her, too, and thought I'd write a review while I'm at it. Enjoy!

Quality unreliable, but the good ones are great
I really liked this bag and even ordered a second to give as a gift. Unfortunately the zipper on the second one was terrible and constantly stuck so it was sent back. Because I ordered two I noticed that the one I kept didn't come with the branded charm. I don't think I'd use it anyway so it's no big deal to me, but it's worth noting that a piece was missing. I would thoroughly check the zipper before you travel with it. I'd hate to be locked out of the bag when you're finally at the front of the customs line or see a perfect photo op. The one I kept has stuck a few times over the weeks I've tested it but it's easy to get it going again whereas the other one was a nightmare before I even put any items in it.

Too small for me
I had the baggalini everywhere bagg and wanted to change it up. This bag just isn’t quite big enough for all my essentials. Probably would be good for dinner out etc but not quite enough space for everything I like to carry.. it looks nice enough and the gold details are appealing. Ended up ordering another baggalini bag as well

Wonderful Hobo Bag
I'm really enjoying this bag. It looks great, is lightweight, plenty of room(although I'm careful to not overload it as I hate heavy bags) and it's fairly water resistant. I've been in the rain too many times since I got it, but it doesn't leave any water stains and dries quickly. I really like the way it looks. It's not small, not large, just right!
