attractive sandal with good support

I was hesitant to purchase these shoes but wanted a tan/caramel color of sandal. Now that I'm older, I need good shoes with good support. I have a narrow foot and can rarely find narrow. I did order a 6.5 narrow and it fits perfect! It is especially nice because you can adjust the fit with the straps...one across toe area, one across top of foot and then one across ankle....I have been wearing these most of the day since I received them and have had to adjust for comfort. They are a well-made sandal and feels comfortable. I have never purchased Trotters before but am quite impressed by this shoe.

5.5M feels like a 6.5M

This pair could have been God sent but not for the following reasons: I purchased a size 5.5M, when I tried them, it felt like I was wearing a 6.5 pair of shoes. I also have another Trotter- it's a sling back, size 5.5M and fits perfectly. I wonder why this pair of sandals have a different fit? I have wide feet, although I purchased a Medium, the strap of the 5.5M can be adjusted and would fit just great, BUT the toe area is narrow thus your feet will be touching the edge of the sandals. If they didn't have the strap, your little toe will probably be hanging on the edge. The sole of the sandals are not slip resistant. Could be dangerous when you walk fast on a smooth or slippery floor.

Six and half fits true to size. Good materials used. Trotters are the best

Disappointing fit

I've had Trotters in the past that worked. Since it's so hard to find any shoe in a 12N and these were on sale I thought I'd try them. Unfortunately the instep strap isn't very adjustable and was far to loose even at its tightest. The toe strap wasn't in a good place for my longer toes. The sole seemed comfortable but the sandals flopped around on my feet and I sent them back after trying them for only a couple of minutes at home. The dark brown soles make them look clunkier than I'd like, but I could live with that if they fit properly.

Sandal Perfection!

I am so happy right now! These sandals are perfect for me! They are very comfortable. I love the surfer footbed, sturdy yet stylish straps, and just a little heel. The color is neutral and rich. I like that the top strap is high up on my instep. This really adds stability. And the adjustable back strap helps customize the fit for my foot. And then there is the sale price with Prime. Amazing!!

Nice looking sandal

I am happy with these. The staps are maybe a tad to thin, so I am going to have to break them in so they are comfy. But it is a nice looking sandal!

Narrow, not wide

While I did order the wide sandal, it was not wide. Not even close.

Slim FITS!

Finally, a pair of sandals that fit my narrow foot! If you are like me and you can't find shoes in a store, rest assured - these "Slim" width shoes will work. I am a 2A heel with a super thin arch are of foot. Thank you again Trotters
