This is a beaty roller. it uses regular batteries. It has those bumps that you roll over your face. it feels good, and I think it helps with skin care

Hmm. This one is kind of a head scratcher. I agree with other reviewers: this product feels a little cheap. Yes, it has a few pink quartz stones, though I'm not sure why, exactly, but it is mostly made of a very lightweight plastic. The vibration is pretty strong, which I guess is meant to be energizing. Maybe it is, but there is something missing, or something wrong...I just can't quite figure out what it is. But I don't feel like I really want to use this massager very much. It is kind of loud and it doesn't feel especially good on my face. I think the combination of the 'studs' and the strong vibration make it feel a little annoying rather than soothing or even energizing. Some folks might like it, I suppose, especially if they feel they need to sort of wake up a dull complexion, and the price seems fair enough to me. It might float your boat, but it doesn't float mine. (This device might, however, be good for relieving migraine pain. If so, I will report back with an update.) By the way, one of the photos for this product listing says it takes one AAA battery. It's actually a AA battery, and it's not included. FYI. I hope my experience with this product might help YOU make a more informed purchase. Happy shopping!

Feels nice and refreshing

The True Glow by Conair Battery Operated Facial Massaging Beauty Roller is nice and energizing to skin. I love using it with my moisturizer to help me work it into my skin. It also is incredibly relaxing at the end of the day after I cleanse my skin. The mini balls on the head roll along the skin and the entire head rotates as well. The unit also vibrates so even if it seems silly your face gets a nice massage that feels great!

Relaxing if you can ignore the sound, not sure it does anything

I am in my late 40's and use little things like this to relax. The other massager I tried had a flat blade (not sharp) that put ultrasonic vibrations into your skin. Honestly, I couldn't feel anything so wasn't sure it was doing anything. You certainly know this one is working . . . it runs on one AA battery and that motor is loud (don't try to have a conversation) and vibrates strongly so you will feel it up your sinuses if you use it on your cheeks. I found I like to use this with a lotion on my face and neck to relax. I was disappointed to see that even though it is advertised as having quartz crystals it really only has 7 crystals, the rest (18) are simply plastic bumps. It is easy to turn on (the base twists to on, off, and open for the battery compartment) and turns easily on your skin. Honestly I doubt that it is really accomplishing anything. Using it with lotion makes a mess . . . and my skin does like the feeling but a regular massager works just as well if not better. The quartz seems gimmicky especially since there is more than twice the number of plastic ones on the tool.

Feels Cheap - Looks Cheap - Too Much Vibration

True Glow by Conair Battery Operated Facial Massaging Beauty Roller, Uplifting Facial Roller This roller reminds me of a cheap sonic toothbrush that vibrates loudly and doesn't do much else. The mottled plastic of the unit looks like the paint is chipping off of it. The handle is very thin plastic and requires a AA battery which is not included. Most units like this are made from metal and feel sturdy, this one is super light and the real heft comes from the battery. It does have a studded roller like the Nurse Jamie roller (which has its own issues) but the super vibrations are not relaxing and more irritating to use. You are supposed to roll this over your skin and it is supposed to increase circulation but I noticed some little broken blood vessels even with gentle use. Nope.

Loud & Rough

Facial massage can be relaxing and rejuvenating. Sadly this wand is neither. It looks and feels cheap. While there are a few genuine crystals most of the nibs are plastic. Battery operated (battery not included) it is noisy. The vibrations are heavy and not relaxing. Clears the sinuses though. Have not realized any beauty benefit. Pass.

Missed the mark

Conair missed the mark on this one. It doesn't seem to be very effective. It just seems....cheap. not well thought out. I have a feeling not many will be happy with this. I wouldn't reorder, so I can't recommend.
