Great Deal - Works Great

Bought one of those hooks to hook it on siding. Since I read about the little hole at 12 o'clock, I patched it up with cement glue. I took the plastic cover off and inserted the battery and then snapped the plastic cover back on the battery mechanism. The clock has kept good time and is very easy to read. I have it semi under the roof overhang... but not completely ... so far so good.. and I really like it. It's a regular inexpensive clock - but it is priced just right as far as I'm concerned. Better than getting dressed, using your gas and having to hunt for something like this. Didn't see anything in Wal-Mart that came close... so, arriving at my door for this price... that's amazing and so easy. It's a bit nicer than some even though it is encased in plastic (what did you expect). It does look nice. I wouldn't use it as "decor"... but for the patio, garage, laundry room, an office... it's perfect. I am definitely buying another one to hang in my garage so I can tell time when I come in thru the garage (I like to know when I arrived, others like to know when I go...but they can buy their own darn clock)....

So Easy to Read!

I have this clock on the front of my garden shed and it is pefect for when I'm outside. It is clear and the numbers are easy to read. Even my neighbor says how she is enjoying it!

Never worked

This clock with multiple new batteries would work for an hour then stop. Every now and then the time would change so it randomly started at some point. Yesterday another new battery, set the clock at 7:45pm and 12 hours later stopped again.

Keeps perfect time

Clock is on outside patio and just went through extremely hot summer and recent several days of sub-freezing temperatures. STILL WORKS PERFECTLY! I have three more of these clocks in the house and they all keep perfect time. A truly great product in my experience.

Clear and precise and runs quietly

I keep this clock indoors and the big bold numbers allows me to see the time easily from quite a distance, visible from other rooms from where I've hung it. This is great since I don't have to have clocks in each room cluttering up the walls or tables in order to keep track of time. I didn't want anything expensive and after looking through a variety of similar clocks, I chose this one because of the clean design. Also, it didn't have a brand labeled prominently on the face of the clock detracting from the clean lines other than a small "QUARTZ" listed in small print which is not obtrusive. The second hand on the clock is red, and runs quietly which is nice. You don't hear it unless you get really close right next to it, and even then it's a very soft and faint. My only reservation with the clock is that it is a little industrial looking and reminds me of the clocks we had in school where we would wait anxiously watch for it to reach the magic time when class was dismissed. I figured at such a low price, I would try it out and if I was unhappy with it, I could shop for another clock to replace it and move this one to the garage, but it's worked out well so far.

The size is perfect for this

We bought this clock to hang on our outside wall of the house so we could see it from the patio or pool. The size is perfect for this; large, but not overly so. The numbers are are in a clean, easy to read at a glance font, and the hands are easily visible. I bought this item because of the inside/outside designation; whether that claim will stand remains to be seen. However, the body of the clock seems to be well constructed and reasonably weather proof. I was impressed that a clear plastic cover was included to fit over the battery compartment, which may help with moisture problems. The clock is somewhat protected by an eave and not in direct sunlight, so I don't anticipate any sun damage to the plastic. Only time will tell how well it will hold up outside, but the low price will help to ease my mind in case it does not last.

Simple Inexpensive Outdoor Clock

In the summer, I swim laps in the pool at my condo. I wanted a clock that could hang on an outside bathhouse wall so that I could see the time while I was swimming. I volunteered to pay for the clock myself, and got approval from the condo Board for this model (I gave them a couple of choices rated as okay for indoor/outdoor use to pick from). The clock's been in place for a month now, and so far it works fine. The simple design makes it easy to tell what time it is without missing a stroke. It's water resistant enough to survive several summer thunderstorms (including a dilly about a week ago that knocked out power in the Washington DC area for quite a while). I doubt that the clock is waterPROOF (it hangs under the overhang of the bathhouse roof, where it's somewhat sheltered from the rain), but it seems good enough for our purposes. Good value for the money.

So Far, So Good

Poor quality

I installed this clock outside on a brick wall. After 2 summer months the mechanism was melted and nothing works. J'ai installé cette horloge à l'extérieur sur un mur de brique. Après 2 mois d'été le mécanisme a pratiquement fondu et plus rien ne fonctionne.
